We tried the DX Hakata Tonkotsu style ramen and Chicken paitan. Both were delicious and taste was authentic! My favorite was the Tonkotsu. Very rich and flavorful and has a good amount of toppings. The price is also very reasonable and we both left feeling full and satisfied. I would love to come back again next time we are in the area!

This is the best ramen I've had in DFW. its authentic flavor and traditional style and staff gives me everything i need to feel like I'm being transported to Japan. I love the tonkatsu deluxe with a level 4 spice, it's savory and full of porky creamy textures. The marufuku bites with Chashu is also a staple every time we go. So far, everything i have tried here is a 5/5 from their beer, sake, and sodas to their bites, octopus, and squid its all delicious! You certainly won't be disappointed. The staff is always very friendly and i have never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seated. Its cozy and personal each time.

So happy with my Tonkotsu ramen. Tasty rich broth and a perfectly cooked eggs made it. The meat was just ok but the rest of the ingredients were great. The service is very friendly and they'll explain the menu if you've never been here before.

I got the hakata tonkatsu. It was really good. The egg was a perfectly soft boiled egg, and it was a whole egg, not a half egg. I got mild version, but I want to try a spice level up next time. The noodles were yummy, and I liked the meat. The chasu bowl was ok. I liked the chasu meat, but the bowl had too much vegetable compared to meat.

Our original dinner plans fell through, leaving us shivering in the frigid cold. Luckily, Marufuku was a serendipitous discovery! Craving warmth, we ducked inside and opted for the classic tonkotsu ramen, each choosing a slightly different spice level. The first thing that struck me was the presentation: the bowls themselves looked like oversized, gleaming oyster shells, cradling the steaming broth. And what broth it was! Rich and creamy, with a deep pork flavor, though perhaps a touch salty for my personal preference. The tonkotsu itself was a masterpiece - the pork cutlet perfectly cooked and seasoned, melting in my mouth. The noodles, springy and with just the right amount of bite, completed the comforting experience. Beyond the delicious food, the service was excellent - attentive and friendly. The spacious dining room, well-lit and thoughtfully designed, added to the overall positive experience.

I was craving ramen but a lot of places don't have gluten free noodles until now.. when I find a spot in Texas! You can add them to any of the ramen options they offer. I got the veggie ramen which came with a creamy broth (think of a miso soup but creamy). It also comes with a spring mix, egg, tofu, bell peppers and some tomatoes. A different kind of veggie ramen then what I'm used to but it's def worth the try. I got it to go, comes with plenty of noddles and the sides as well as a good amount of broth. **note the gf noodles are thicker and so tend to fall apart easier in the broth. The server who helped me was really nice, told me it'll be ready for take out in five minutes. Inside had plenty of seating as well as a bar area to eat at. More options then just ramen too!

We called at 3pm to make a reservation for 6 people at 6pm and they were able to accommodate us on the same day. When we arrived, there were 2 parties already waiting (3 top and a 4 top), but no server seemed to know what they were doing. They didn't greet any one of us and they kept asking the party they were trying to seat if the reservation was under a different name and it turned out they had added themselves on the waitlist per Yelp. Not sure what the difference was considering they were going to seat them anyways. I finally went up to the server that was at the hostess stand to let them know that we're checking in for our reservation. She said they're clearing off a table for us and asked how many high chairs or boosters we needed. I said one booster and one high chair. When we were finally seated, neither one was brought to us. We finally found some against a wall and got it ourselves. Off to great start... however the reason for the 4 stars is for the cleanliness and nice ambiance and for the spectacular ramen. My husband ordered the Spicy Tan Tan but added chashu, and I ordered the Hakata Tonkatsu DX. We also ordered each of our toddlers the kids ramen. Our server was actually very attentive and super awesome. I wish I got his name, but he kept our waters refilled and when I asked for the kids' juice boxes to be brought out first, he accommodated with a smile. With only two cooks in the kitchen for a Saturday night, they were still able to whip out the food very quickly. This is awesome for families with little ones as there's a very small window of patience when it comes to eating out. As soon as my husband's tan tan ramen came out, I had immediate food envy. The color looked so rich and red that I was immediately having regrets that I didn't order that instead. Fret not, when I took a sip of my Tonkatsu, my regret went away. Both ramens were great, rich in flavor, and the portions were just enough. The egg was perfectly boiled soft with jammy yolks - just the way it should be. On top of all this, the kids ramen was amazing. Reminds us of the kids meals back in Japan. For $10, they get a half sized bowl of Tonkatsu ramen with corn, edamame, one piece of chicken karaage, French fries, and a jelly cup. Literally what every child wants in a meal. Both of our kids (3 and 1) ate it up. They even had toddler utensils! I love going to restaurants and they're so accommodating to kids, makes it super family friendly. All in all, I'm sure we'll be back. It's a little out of our way from home, but worth it for the food and the awesome kids meal that my girls love.

Stopped by this ramen spot for a quick lunch and ordered the tonkotsu ramen. The broth was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. The noodles were cooked just right & went very well the broth. The service was decent, our server made us feel a bit rushed when it came time to settle the check.
