First of all the venue is gorgeous and very clean. The sound was ok to good inside the venue. Parking was very easy for the concert I attended (12/2), and it was FREE. Here's the reason for the two stars:The staff at the venue are rude and unhelpfulABSOLUTELY NO re admittance for any reasonThere is one line for refreshments which happens to be a couple of folding tablesThe only food product sold is peanuts and they run out quicklyNo beverages inside the venueAnd of course because you are at an ISD event there is no alcohol, which we figured out on the way there. Two help avoid problems they should make people well aware of all the rules and restrictions prior to purchasing tickets for the venue.

Had to go here for a graduation due to TCU renovations. Bag checks, no water bottles allowed and they held us at the door like cattle until we had our tickets. They also hold flowers and gifts for the graduates at a check in/check out center ! Absolutely ridiculous. We were criticized for using the elevator when I am handicapped and there was no one else even there ! Extremely disappointed and disgraced !

Oh WOW! I wish for TWENTY STARS to give. The facility and Jeanne and the rest of the crew were so over-the-top magnificent. Twice a year, starting in 2010, our non profit organization has hosted an event for about 100 registrants. Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts and staff rose head and shoulders above all the rest in best value pricing for the space (we needed 10,000 sq feet for our event), services provided (the manager and an a/v tech were on-site all day for our set-up day and all day for the event, along with a crew devoted to helping us), high tech a/v (the presenters saw their slides projected on the back wall!), hospitality, graciousness, helpfulness, and much more. When they say "price includes the full package", that's a mega understatement. The information about our open-to-the-public event appeared on their website AND on the large marquee in front of the building. They provided at no additional cost projectors, screens, monitors, stage, a/v cart, coffee maker, ice, and MUCH more.Jeanne offered to make our directional signs to post on the stands the Center provided. When we had trouble connecting to the internet, they provided a laptop. When we needed a computer when our computers were in an in-use room, Jeanne let us use a desktop. When we saw need for a "closed" sign for one of our rooms for the day, another staff member volunteered to make them. When we saw we were close to running past the 5:00 closing time on set-up day, Jeanne assured us, "Not a problem. You're busy." The Center provided a walkie talkie so that we had immediate access to technical assistance. Within seconds after paging, when a "clicker" did not advance the presenter's slides, we received help. We were not expected to sweep or mop afterwards. We just cleared out all our "stuff". The acoustics were marvelous. Our registrants heard the presenters clearly. The voices and body language of Jeanne and staff said, "How may we help? It's our pleasure to serve you." This review is not well-edited. It's simply off-the-cuff because I could not wait to share with the world my experience with Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts.If you need an event center, be aware that this center stays quite busy with school events. Plan your event around any available date at Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts.

Do not go to an event here unless you want to be held hostage. They welcome you in then keep police at the door to make sure you don't leave. Awful place for a concert.
