Possibly nicest dinner setting in White SettlementI used to come here frequently for work lunches, but probably haven't been for a decade - and first time for dinner. Took wife, teenage daughter, and 5 yr old. Nice, dark, candlelit dinner setting / atmosphere. Great, courteous, knowledgeable service.3.5 - wine (not the best Chianti - too sweet)5.0 - Shirley Temples5.0 - garlic bread5.0 - fried mushrooms3.0 - shrimp scampi: good shrimp and mushrooms, but the butter sauce has no flavor4.0 - chicken parm: light on taste, but great meat sauce for the pasta (although pasta overcooked and a bit watery)4.5 - kid noodles

We went to Mancuso's Italian Ristorante in White Settlement for dinner last night We were seated very quickly and our server was extremely attentive! We started with an appetizer that had mozzarella sticks, ravioli, and mushrooms - forgot to snap a photo! Hubby got his usual for an Italian restaurant- Chicken Parmesan. He said it was good. The kids each got kids meals, which were pretty small for the price, so that was disappointing. I ordered a sampler platter and shared most of my food with the kids. We still brought home quite a bit From the sampler platter- both of the kids liked the tortellini with Alfredo. I thought the lasagna was the great! While it was good, we felt like the sauce was too heavy. Overall, it was good- but not the best we have had for Italian.

This has long been a solid Italian restaurant in Fort Worth. But there has been a steady decline since Covid. Our recent visit was awful. The sign outside is embarrassingly dilapidated and the front door is actually a sticker of a wood door pasted on a cheap door. Two big warning signs.Inside is clean but incredibly cheap. What was once a cozy inviting restaurant now feels like a cheap mobile home. The carbonara is not carbonara. While it tasted ok, it was pasta with a cheese/cream sauce and covered in bacon. My wife had spinach ravioli and it was ok at best. The salads were unremarkable and the dressing was cheap and flavorless. I'm sure the owners are wonderful people trying to keep this restaurant alive, but it was an incredible disappointment

I have to add to my last review that this guy probably has the best pizza in Fort Worth. Also, try his cannolis.

First visit last week. Excellent food and service. Ambiance not my thing. Felt I was having dinner in a prison cafeteria. Not sure what they are going for, but won't be back. Warm the place up!

Have loved Mancuso's, I believe, since it opened. The house specialty is an incredible fish prepared in a bag and is outstanding. The ownership truly loves their customer's and treats them with love! 3 generations going strong...
