MAMA MIA Mexican Cuisine

We had a large group which kept our server very busy. Still, service was pretty good, though she did get distracted and forget a couple things. Not a big deal, and she was very responsive when we reminded her.The venue was a little noisy, but family friendly. Food is very good. I had the Carne Asada, which was tasty. Everyone left happy.

We went on the recommendation of a friend who lives in town, and we're not disappointed! We had the fajitas and flautas. Everything was very fresh, nothing was just out of the freezer and warmed up. The meats were tender. Our server was fantastic, I had asked about a few things and he was honest when he hadn't tried something yet. He said he really enjoys the food and was happy to share about his favorites. We really enjoyed our meal here!

Wife and I went Friday afternoon. Loved the atmosphere upon entry and were greeted promptly and very friendly service. Ordered margaritas but were told they don't have an option for frozen. Kinda strange for Texas but got them on the rocks. They were very solid and only $5. Just prefer frozen so I don't gulp them down too quick. Chips and salsa came out right after. Both were delicious and chips were very warm. I ordered the fajita trio and wife got quesadilla. Fajita meat was thinly sliced but very tender and great flavor. Beans and rice equally good. Fantastic flour tortillas too! The bummer was my wife's quesadilla though. She ordered the beef and chicken combo but It had barely any meat or cheese in it. Big let down there but least the tortilla was good. Overall the best Mexican restaurant we've been to in the area and will be back but won't order the quesadilla again.

We loved this place! The sign is hard to see the business name, but look for a gray building with a large patio up front, adorned with small flags. First of all, we like spicy. Usually when you go to a Mexican food restaurant, you can ask for their "spicy salsa," and they bring you some slightly amped up version of their original salsa. Not this place! They brought us habanero (spicy level 2) and ANOTHER salsa (spicy level 3) in addition to their regular salsa. We ordered lunch fajitas, the balero, and cheese enchiladas. Everyone enjoyed their meals. We also ordered horchata. The family enjoyed it, but I thought it tasted chalky. Service was excellent and everyone was very friendly and said THANK YOU! Restaurant was clean as were bathrooms.

We were exhausted driving south to home from DFW, stopped in Glen Rose for supper and happened to choose Mamma Mia, and WOW! Beautiful interior, good service, and amazing food and coffee! Their menu is very Mex-diverse, foods from several regions, and the guajillo sauce on my enchiladas was mild, but perfectly flavored! We began figuring how far from home we were for a possible return trip, as well as what meat dish to enjoy next time... Prepare to be happy!

Great service, Tasty Food, Affordable Prices! Fun little restaurant indoor and and outdoor patio! Best sweet tea I've had in a restaurant in a while!

It's a nice little restaurant , food was good , cake was good ! Portions are kind of small but that's alright. Averagely good restaurant

Had the Fajita Combo: Grilled Steak & Grilled Chicken Breast with bell peppers, onions, and yellow squash. Pico de Gallo , rice snd frijoles. Choice of three flour or corn tortillas- had flour. Excellent in all aspects! Personal salsa bowels for each diner. Mild heat - just right. Will come again soon!

We were greeted courteously and seated promptly. It was very cold outside, so I requested a table away from the door, and that was no problem. I ordered the chicken fajita enchiladas and my husband ordered the Carne guisada. Both were excellent! We'll definitely be back.

Sorry we have to drive to glen Rose to get some decent Tex-Mex food.Nice selection on the menu.
