Want to see a comedy show/movie showing. It was a great and fun night. Got balcony tickets towards the top, but the view was fantastic as well as the audio. The presenters/actors also made sure to include all parts of the audience, not just the ground floor.Checking in and going past security was a breeze. The theater is also located near the dart station, and it's easy to request uber and lyfts nearby. The concession stand was a little pricey, but drinks were good. The inside of the entrance hallway was beautiful. The inside of the auditorium was also very beautiful much like other majestic theaters, a different locations. But definitely come back to see an event or performance here!

This was our first visit to the Majestic. Came for a concert. Like so many of the old vaudeville houses, then movie houses, then shut for a couple decades in the 70s and 80s and restored and reopened again for live events - The Majestic just oozes history and sophistication. I found it a bit less ornate than many of these old theatres, and also a bit more intimate. It is still much better than theatres built new in the last 75 years (the exception being the Bass Hall in Fort Worth, which is outstanding). The sound quality was very good. Seat spacing in the orchestra level where we were as very comfortable with plenty of leg room. I will say however that the pitch of the floor going back from the stage was much steeper than any other I have been in and was actually quite uncomfortable for standing for any prolonged period. Despite that, I so very much wish the Broadway Series that comes to Dallas would switch to this venue instead of the Music Hall at the State Fair which has such terrible parking and is so inconvenient. The Majestic has several high quality hotels and restaurants a convenient and comfortable walking distance, making for one parking per night ease and a great feeling of safety late night after the show.

Saw a screening of napoleon dynamite here, and it was such a fun time. Entering was a breeze, finding my seat was easy and fast, and getting a drink was fast. The show was spectacular, and my view was perfect from the balcony level! I liked how on the bottom floor, there was A mini display of cinema related items! Would highly recommend this theater!!! In the area, lots of restaurants, bars, and other activities. This theater is also located near the DART station

Came to see "it's a wonderful life" before Christmas. Theater is clean & well kept. Seats were comfortable. A beautiful theater from the past. My first time here. My husband went here growing up. No "true" concessions but they served alcohol, bottled water, pre-bagged popcorn.

Once again the 103 year old grande dameOf intimate Dallas venues comes through.Every chance I get to attend a concert at the Majestic I take it. No matter the type of musicI always enjoy. The atmosphere and sound is always great helping the evenings entertainment shine.Tonight was an appearance by Todd Rundgren. While not a big fan over the years, there are a couple of early career hits everyone would know. However, tonight's concert was more about the experimental side of his compositions.Overall,it's more about the place and listening than who. Guaranteed enjoyment if you like music....Go!

Like stepping into the past. The architecture is whimsical. The seating is very comfortable and spaced out, so you can enjoy moving your arms without smacking your neighbor. We sat on the second floor balcony and was clearly able to see the stage. Absolutely loved this venue.

Herb Alpert concert was amazing. The theater is still a classic landmark, beautiful interior and acoustics with great service. Everyone was even allowed to take photos and videos with their phones during the concert. I had a wonderful time.

Gorgeous venue. Just know that if you order a cocktail, they are going to ask you if you want to make it a double and when they make it a double it literally doubles the price. We ordered a $15 cocktail and they asked if we wanted to make it a double we said yes and then it was $32.

Beautiful atmosphere and good sound. However, the seats were horribly uncomfortable and there's no leg room. The stairs in the balcony were very difficult to manage with my bad knees! Several people were seen tripping and walking up the stairs on all fours.
