It only happens once a year so get ready for some art yall! I love coming downtown and walking these streets full of art. Just like any other festival it does get crowded on saturday the most so plan if you can to come out on thursday or sunday. Free parking after 5pm and free parking on the weekends at selected garages and parking lots own by the city. There are plenty of food trucks and drink vendors but be prepare to wait in line to order and get your food. I suggest bring your own food/drinks in a cooler but remember no glass or alcohol allowed. Many places here accept card but if you want cash bring some because the atm on site will charge you a convenience fee. At this festival you can find art in all kinds of mediums. Dancing, jewelry, live music, glass, ceramics, stone and metal work, fabric etc. If you are into people watching bring a chair. If it rains bring an umbrella, this event is rain oor shine. Among the artist you can also find the maker zone sponsor by TCC where anyone can make art and take it home with them.

Arts fest was awesome this year. So many artist and so many beautiful pieces to look at and to top it off the smell of turkey legs and funnel cake was heavy in the air. Things are back to normal again and I love it. Cool music good drinks and lots of entertainment to keep you busy all day long.

I look forward to this four days arts festival every year. Eighteen blocks of innovative, whimsical, fun, and endearing art for my eyes to feast upon. Wonderful artists from all over the United States in paintings, jewelry, pottery, furniture, paper-cutting, glass art, and, sculptures, in just naming a few. This fun festival is outdoors, so I do plan for my visits accordingly to the weather forecast, including an evening visit for a specific live band or singer.CHEERS!

Went to the Art show today even though there was a threat of rain. I was so glad I did because there weren't very many people. This year they had Chloe wine. The selection was rose, pinot grigio, cabernet and pinot noir. I got a rose.I also ordered a turkey, cheese, tomato and spinach crepe. It was awesome.I sat in sundance and watched the performers while I ate. It was nice even with the light rain.It was nice being able to talk to some of the vendors since it wasn't crowded. Always a great free event with something for the whole family.

So much fun!!! I've recently discovered art festivals and this was my 2nd in two weeks. So, never having attended the Ft. Worth Arts festival, I really enjoyed it. Compared to the Deep Ellum Arts Festival last week, this was like the Neiman Marcus of art festivals. The price point (compared to Deep Ellum), was also on par with Neiman Marcus. Here's what I loved about it: Free close-by parking at the multilevel garage facility; lots of beautiful artwork that runs the gammut from paintings, to sculptures, to beautiful custom made jewelry, to works of art in wood and glass, beautifully made leather-bound custom journals, to incredibly large yard art that blows in the wind. You name it, you will most likely find it here. They offer one-of-a-kind stuff from artists that come from all over the country. You will not see the same vendors at the Deep Ellum Arts Festival at this place. Although it's fun to stroll around and admire all the beautiful stuff, the cost of pretty much everything is PRICEY!I didn't leave empty-handed though, I paid $8 for a bag of sweet popcorn! Holy cow! They also had vendors making fresh mojitos for sale (I think they were $10 bucks for a little plastic cup), but they sure looked delicious! This is a great place to just hang out, walk around and enjoy the art - and even better if the weather cooperates!

This is a a must go to event.. Actually, I don't know why anyone would rate it lower!! It's amazing and FREE It exceeded my expectations, I expected 30 vendors with personal easy ups and all selling longhorn art, boy was I way off! I'd say well over 100 vendors with tons of Cali and NY influenced pieces from pop-art, gothic jewelry, amazing ceramics you actually want to buy, trendy metal jewelry. If you like Etsy, you will be in heaven. Guys will like the live bands and beer gardens. Most items starts at about $40 but for things you'd really want I'd say $160. I bought an original acrylic for $300 but there was some 25k statement pieces. It's free and we used Valet one block away for $12 what a bargain! This event easily could charge... If you live anywhere near this and like strolling art events, swap meets, music venues then you won't be disappointed. And BYW I only saw one Longhorn piece of art.

To my surprise this was a very large event. There were so many people that it was difficult to see the art work but that is good for the vendors and the artist (more potential customers) so I would not complain too much about that. I enjoyed the event. There were artist using a variety of media and there was a large section for kids to have their faces painted or create their own work of art. There were plenty of food and alcohol vendors or you could chose one of the many fab restaurants to dine in and rest your weary feet. Next year I would probably arrive early, yesterday I got there about 4:30pm or 5:00pm, in order to find decent parking ( parking was a monster. It was either too high , $15, or you had to find metered parking and walk a couple of blocks to the event), or to browse the artist booths at a leisurely pace.

After seeing Better Than Ezra on the list of performances, I knew I had to go. I had been dying to see them ever since I first saw them at my first concert nearly 6 years ago.My friend and I arrived around 6pm after we found metered street parking a few blocks away. It was ridiculously windy, enough that they had to take down tents and flags due to safety concerns.Art booths were more interesting than the Deep Ellum Arts Festival in Dallas. We eventually made it over to the food area and got some overpriced, mediocre food to eat. 40 min before the performance, we started waiting and managed to get the second row behind the barricade. The performance itself was awesome. Probably the best concert I've been to so far, even though the venue was so much smaller, and they were just one of the 30+ performances. An hour and a half of awesome BTE.Definitely worth the trip.

After going to the Deep Ellum Arts Festival, I always find myself comparing the two Art Festivals. Like no dogs at this one, while DE you can bring them. It's been a few years since I've been to this one except this year we went. It was fun. You've got all kinds of Art from glass blowing to Jewelry. From up and coming artists to pros. They had all sorts of goodies set up to eat. Even had an alcohol station on every corner almost. Definitely a fun time to waste a couple of hours.
