Louisiana Seafood & Fish Market

So...this place is a gem. The catfish is flavorful and really good. It's cooked to order so it'll take 15-20 minutes. A friend brought me here about 5 years ago and I stop by when I'm in the area or when I have a taste for it and feel like driving from Lewisville. I've only encountered the Hispanic man that was mentioned in another review once. I wouldn't say he was rude; he just seemed like he wasn't having the best day. He wasn't rushing me or anything. Think of the Dad who warns his kids in the car not to touch anything in the store. That's the vibe I got from him.Again, the fish is definitely one of the best in the Metroplex, hands down.

Got this place confused for Fort Worth Seafood, and it does not compare. We got the #11 catfish tails and a side of okra, but I doubt we'll be back. We were waiting for our food, and apparently it had been done but they didn't call our name or number to let us know, so it didn't taste fresh for something that was newly made. Catfish was fair: lightly breaded and crispy, with a crunchy tail. Okra: Would not recommend. Super breaded, bland, and disappointing. The sides for the meal were saaaaad. The fries were soggy, hush puppies bland, "salad" was sad to even look at.

I am not sure if they changed vendors but the size of the fillets they served me were shameful. I called and was told I could come look at the other fillets. I told the rude lady on the phone that I was bringing it back and would like to replace with a whole catfish. Her reply was that it would be extra, I told her that I did not care and would be bringing back both meals for a refund. She then says I can't get a refund.My fries should not be longer than the fish!!!

This place is great for all your seafood needs ... Keep in mind this place is a drive thru so expect to get a drive thru type of atmosphere if you want a more sit in dinner with desert then go elsewhere .... Now if your going to get fish I suggest get the whole catfish !!!! If you love fish get two you will not be disappointed. This is a "neighborhood favorite" type of restaurant my food is cook to order I have no complaints except for that so called salad they give with your fish ...Great place !

The food is just okay, and their customer service is awful! The Hispanic guy who takes the orders acts as if he is doing you a favor by allowing you to patronize his establishment.
