Casually hitting my errands somebody recommended me this food truck. So after my workout I said: why not a nice mofongo as a post workout meal? LolYou can find them stationed at the Denton hwy 377 and Shipp dr in Watauga. Right in from of smoke and vape DZ and the Texaco gas station. Serving Thursday - Sunday. They have almost every pay form option available. TBH I don't think there's any way possible that you can't spot this food. It's painted in a beautiful red with DR and PR's flags. The menu super easy and comfortable to read. And obviously being from PR I have judged this mofongo. And to keep it in familia let's get that mangu too! But I must say that I regret it. I should order a meal instead of appetizers. That mangu dead good tho! But THAT MOFONGO WAS LIT!!!! Perfect size (although now that I think it through. I could order the whole dish) ...accompanied with mayo-ketchup and a garlic sauce that for me was signature!! Y'all can find some of the best staple dishes of both countries. Also, even when I haven't try it yet the cubano look fire. That's going to be my next target. Owner are very on point and friendly. Overall this place is more than approved in my opinion. Go check it out and indulge yourself with their amazing caribbean flavor!

I was recommended this place from my coworker, we ordered a ton of food which started to became a little pricey but food was great! I got the fries with mayo ketchup, it was okay because it didn't have any meat on it; but I didn't mind since it was my first time trying it. The pork chop is sooo crispy and delicious. As well as the pork sandwich with onion and cabbage in it. The fried plantains weren't as fresh so they weren't crispy anymore but still tasty with the mayo ketchup. The service was awesome, the lady who took register reassured me of my order (phone pickup order) when I arrived and paid by the time I got there. They allow phone pick-up orders, but you need to give them 25-30 minutes depending on what you order (for a total of 3 full entrees and 1 side + malts soda) She was really sweet and very patient as well. The ambiance of the area was peaceful and really nice since it was at a local park. A perfect place to have a food truck nearby a large neighborhood. The area and location it was in did throw me off because the address they had on their instagram account took me to a roundabout. Just search up "Switchyard Food Truck Park" and it'll take you right there to the park it's at. If you're ever craving Dominican food, definitely try this place, much better if it's eaten fresh!
