I can't believe i haven't eatin here sooner, i mean, i have been doing business with them for a while but never ate here til now. And OMG how could i have not eatin here before? Well it's Taco Tuesday and National Taco Day so i figured why not and thank God i did. I sat at the bar and before i could even look at the menu, they dropped chips an salsa down. They give you these even if your just there for a drink. OK, being Taco Tuesday i was lookin to get me some and boy did i. I ordered the Birria Tacos and a shot of Aguasol Tequila. Both of these were great choices. The spices were high and the tastes were great on everything on the plate. The tequila was really good and smooth. I enjoyed every sip.I really enjoyed the employees dedication and friendliness that i delt with. Really impressed and i'll be back to try some of my other favorites soon.

Average food. Complimentary chips & salsa (a little spicy) served. Good queso. I got the original margarita that was being sold outside the restaurant during a festival and it tasted like pure lime juice and was very weak if it had any tequila in it. I was expecting more since they advertise having the best margarita. When we dined in, I got the Aztec Mule (tequila, lime juice, & ginger beer) which was very good. The tortilla soup and beef nachos were good. Others enjoyed taco salad and the kids split a kids quesadilla. We wish they would have had milk for the kids to drink. Good table service. They kept chips and waters filled and checked on us frequently. Food came out pretty quickly despite them being busy. The hostess could have been a little more friendly and assertive managing the people waiting as it was starting to get busy and was very loud and she'd just speak softly hoping that the "party of 8" could hear her [the crowd eventually helped find the people that were the party of 8].

We ventured to Los Compadres as part of our Roanoke Christmas parade, and we were so glad we did! The service was friendly and attentive, and you could tell that they all work as a team. We noticed the hostess helping bus tables, and every single employee had a welcoming smile on their face. It's a beautiful restaurant in a great location, and it has lots of spacious seating. The food came out quickly, and it was so delicious! I think the shrimp tacos were the best I've ever eaten! And the basil margarita was a fun twist on a Mexican staple. My husband also enjoyed his chicken quesadilla. Highly recommend! Thank y'all for taking good care of us !

Super Bowl Sunday I was craving Ceviche. They had two orders ready in less than 5 minutes. They serve the ceviche with fresh warm chips and a spicy salsa. I added the chips and salsa to my chili charcuterie board. The shrimp ceviche is so good and differed from many of the ceviche's that are overpowered by red onions. This one has cherry tomatoes sliced in half so they are plump and juicy. Green peppers add a satisfying crunch. The green onions are just enough but they don't over power the shrimp. Definitely worth the trip to Roanoke.

Lunch beef fajitas here were $14. I frequently go to other Mexican restaurants for lunch. Usually, the lunch portions are smaller but I didn't expect the beef portion to be as small as I received. The beef was 6 small strips that were nearly paper thin. Onions and peppers were sufficient and tasty, as were the rice and beans. Main disappointment was the beef, which reminded me of that old Wendy's commercial, "Where's the beef?" I will probably avoid this place if I'm wanting lunch beef fajitas. Photo attached but you can't really see just how thin these strips were. Service was great. Clean and comfortable setting.

We are here for after dinner drinks and it took 30 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us. I finally had to raise my voice at a server to get service. The men's restroom is filthy with paper towel and toilet paper all over the place. This place has really gone downhill.
