My husband and I had been wanting to return to this restaurant ever since we were turned away for not having a reservation on Valentine's Day. We finally made one on a Sunday afternoon around 5pm. They have several hostesses greet you as you walk in. As we walked past more than several empty booths, the hostess sat us at the smallest table in the entire restaurant - Not a very good 1st impression! I would have understood if it was busy but it wasn't at all with plenty of tables available so we ended up moving.Our server, Eric was very nice. He made some great suggestions which we ended up getting a spicy margarita and a coco mojito. Both tasted and looked nice but neither very strong. The food tasted very fresh and had good flavor. Luckily, there is a whole bowl of tortilla chips on the house to make up for the 3 chips that come with the ceviche portion! My husband also complimented how much he likes the salsa.Overall, food wise it was all very nice but a bit over the top in my opinion. They have a nice variety including a lot of seafood options on their menu, but I don't think we'll be back. There are other higher end restaurants in town that serve delicious tex mex that don't have as much of a boujee feel.As someone in the Architecture field, I would say the restaurant design is fantastic. Beautifully decorated and very thought out. We saw it being built and after waiting for months to try it out I can't say it's somewhere we'd like to bring family...It was overall a decent experience but neither one of us felt like it was a good representation of the hometown feel of Flower Mound and was more like a high end Dallas exclusive.

The ambiance is stellar. The service is Gen Z, but still attentive in only the way they can, and finally the food is just ok. It's better than most in FloMo but not better than Mesa, and certainly not better than former Alma's.I had the steak burrito. I suppose I had higher expectations, because in reality it's bits of steak with a ton of rice and since your dish already comes with refried beans and rice it's overkill. In reality, it's just a cheap filler for a $26 burrito... even Chipotle can get this right. I wouldn't order it again. It was dry too... and did not finish.The guac and queso was awesome but someone forgot to inform Gen Z that appetizers are supposed to come to the table ahead of entrees so of course everything arrived at the same time.Overall... not jazzed.

My wife and I have dined here twice and simply love it. The restaurant was beautifully finished out and the large 6 person booths in the main dining room is a plus. Their patio is the best we've seen in Flower Mound.We've had their scallops and grilled chicken breast with mole and both were very delicious. I love their extra hot salsa, you have to ask for it. Their margaritas are tasty and pretty potent. We look forward to your next visit.

The food was pretty average, at best. Service was good, as our server really tried hard. The food portions are very, very small and beans and rice were both cold. The fajitas provided 4 or 5 tortillas, but there was only enough vegetables and shrimp to barely make 2 small ones. The kitchen is slow and the meals for the table dont come out at the same time. We were very underwhelmed after our experience.

We were so excited to try this new spot! The inside is truly beautiful with lots of bar space and fun lounging spots in the indoor patio. We ordered at the bar as it was pretty busy for the soft opening. Service was great and everyone was excited to welcome you. They have the classic margarita options but some fresh new choices as well. We tried the Fresa ranch water and the El Pelón, both very good. We ordered the Pollo con mole tacos and the Achiote braised pork. Both extremely flavorful and very tender. Can't wait to go again! My new favorite hang out.

The restaurant has a great ambience! The host staff were really friendly and accommodating. The food was ok but everything came out cold. Including the queso. A little turned away from that. They are fairly new and were very busy, but we canceled second drink because we had finished the meal and it still hadn't come out. Wouldn't drive out of my way for it. Will maybe try again end of year to see if things have changed?

Love this place. Atmosphere is very upscale. Food was fantastic - many good options in a range of prices - in both traditional dishes and more unique. This is not just TexMex. They have quite a few margarita options, but honestly we liked the house the best.

Several people said this place was good so we checked it out. The food was so bland. The queso had no seasoning, was just melted cheese and then my enchiladas had the same sauce. Rice and beans were also bland. Salsa had 0 spice. I understand you don't want it super spicy but dang throw me a jalapeño, this is a Mexican restaurant. My mojito tasted like water with mint in it. Lastly the waiter had no idea what he was doing but it's a new restaurant so I'm sure he will get better with experience. Anyways gringo Mexican food...and I'm white.

Great addition to non Tex mex for FM. Food selection very good, wait people very attentive and a feel good place. Owners did a great job. Went to opening night and had no issues. You can tell the competition haters out.

Great new upscale Tex mex and more in a stunning atmosphere. Been there several times now, chicken mole, halibut, steak salad and outstanding chicken enchiladas. Love the bar and patio area! Great staff all around from waitstaff to gm to owners. All on site and very engaging.
