Great chicken !!! Delicious okra !!! Not sure about the mashed potatoes n brown gravy as they never send utensils with hotel orders so I didn't get to try it :-( Minus one star for no utensils on Door Dash deliveries. I guess I'll have to borrow a spoon tomorrow morning at breakfast :-)

Fried chicken, fried okra and chicken tenders were good. Cole slaw and macaroni and cheese were okay. Cream gravy was a bit bland. Large servings and nice customer service. Overall, we were happy and will be back to try the fish next

Lisa's beats any chicken place around! The chicken breast are actual chicken breast not the lil small chicken breast given to you at Churches & KFC!They give you nice big portions here & the chicken & fries are piping hot at all times when you order.They have great fried burritos too!

First off, service was great on our visit. Only drive thru was a bit slow. Fried fish were huge slabs, served fresh and tongue-scorching hot, breading perfectly crispy and crunchy. But inside fish wasn't all that flavorful, nor was it flakey, and it needed more seasoning. No tartar sauce was added nor even suggested. Fried chicken was tasty, cooked nicely in peanut oil for added flavor -- on the greasy side but not terribly so.Chicken tenders were a different story, being only thinly breaded, white meat, no grease, but also no juices, leaving it a bit tough.Fries were average, needed salt and a longer cook. Mashed potatoes and gravy were just okay, brown gravy also needed more seasoning.While large portion size and value are the big things here, the food was good enough we left satisfied AND had leftovers for two more meals!

Great customer service. Chicken was great tasting, spicy wings had a just okay flavor. Bombers had too much cheese in it and not cooked long enough in my opinion. Cold slaw is nice and sweet. Fries are nice and crisp. The star of the show is to me, the fish. Great flavor and excellent quality and taste. I recommend this place.

Chicken was horrible no flavor at all just taste like peanut oil and on top of that it made me sick i threw up 3 times this location has got to do better!!!

Disappointed. First time here. Sketchy neighborhood. Sat in drive through nearly 30 min. No one received there food through those windows. Ordered 12 piece shrimp dinner and other food. Asked if cocktail sauce was in the bag they said .25 cents. I'm not putting that small amount on my credit card. The locations in Cedar Hill and Hurst are top notch and include a generous cup, this one is scary af. The signs should've been enough to make me run.

Tried Lisa's Chicken & Seafood today. Had 2 pieces of fish with coleslaw and fries that were pretty good. I think the fried catfish is the best I've had so far in Texas. Nicely battered with corn meal and seasoned just right. The fish had the most incredible crunch on the outside and was moist and delicious in the inside. I also tried the chicken and wasn't as impressed. It was a bit salty for my taste and super greasy like the chicken wasn't drained before being packed to go. Also I like whole chicken wings that are just the wing portion and not this ginormous piece of chicken with partial breast meat attached. I'm not a bone-in chicken breast fan so I don't want it included in a wing. As for customer service, it's on point. The counter person was very friendly and courteous. I'll definitely be coming back for the fish and I highly recommend it.

Definitely a hidden gem for fast food. They say don't judge a book by its cover and Lisa's chicken is a perfect example. I had the 5 piece tender with 2 sides. Mashed potatoes/gravy and French fries. Food was delicious. Chicken was tender in the inside and crispy outside, perfect. Prices are fair

I've really enjoyed Lisa's Chicken after the third time. I had to stop because it tasted like leftover refried chicken leftovers over third time.
