Lisa Food Mart

This is for Lisa's Chicken & Seafood on 2315 NW 24th St. I couldn't find the exact store name but this has the same address.I came here on a Saturday afternoon. The gas station portion of the building was pretty full but once I drove around to the drive thru side, there was only 2 people ahead of me. I pulled up and ordered a 3 piece dark meal with Mac n cheese, fries, coke, and corn nuggets. It was kind of difficult to communicate with the cashier as the speaker kept cutting out. I waited about 10 minutes then it was my turn to pay. The cashier was nice and pretty efficient. She repeated my order to make sure she had the correct customer before taking my card. When she handed me my card back, she also handed me this ginormous drink! I'm not mad at it. I just have little hands and was expecting a smaller cup. I then got the rest of my stuff and went home.I got home within 10 minutes and my food was still warm. I tried a crinkle cut fry but didn't really love it. It was soggy and flimsy. Then I grabbed a corn nugget since they were actually pretty warm vs the other food. These were 10/10. Crispy, flavorful, and not greasy. Next was the Mac n cheese. It was pretty good. The flavor is good but the noodle felt overcooked a bit. The chicken was alright. I was excited to see that the pieces were actually pretty big. I took a bite out of the leg and was a little taken aback because it had a sticky residue or film against my teeth.It's not my favorite chicken place but I'd come back for the corn nuggets.

This place is very inexpensive, quick, and quite good. This is inside a convenience store so parking is limited and there is limited seats to dine inside. Honestly, it would be much better for you to get carry-out. I ordered some catfish filets and fried chicken. The catfish filets were huge for only costing $2 each. There is nothing special about their mac-n-cheese. The chicken is good also.

Surprised to see this was apart of a gas station but the line was out to the road so i figured it had to be good. Wished there was a menu for you to look at before u get to the window but it isn't. I ordered chicken combo with Mac and cheese and some corn nuggets with one fish fillet. All of it was great. I'm definitely going back.

I love eating here they have great food at a reasonable price and they have the best sweet ice tea . It don't matter if I stop to get gas or just stopping in to grab something I always grab a tea
