Lim's Donuts

I'll start by saying that I'm not really a donut "fan". Never have been really. I'll eat one here and there or take a nibble of the kiddos, but I never order one on my own. I'm usually the other snacks person, i.e. sausage roll, burrito, sandwich, ect. I always treat the kid to donuts after his appointments on the way to take him to school. We only ended up here because our normal place was closed for some reason on a Monday morning at 10:40. It doesn't look like much on the outside, or really the inside either. But I'm always a firm believer in not judging a book by it's cover. The service was a tad slow - or maybe I was just in a hurry because I needed to drop off the kid and still make it to work. But I think the lady behind the counter was making some fresh items for the guys in front of us as well as a fresh pot of coffee.Kiddo ordered a fritter and 6 sausage rolls and a starbucks drink. I did not order anything. The lady was kind enough to add an extra goodie to the bag - a blueberry donut. I didn't pay any mind to it really. A blueberry donut has never been on my radar of things I want to try. When I got home, I tore off a piece not expecting much. But ohhhh mmmmmm ggggg! This donut literally melted in my mouth! It was sooooo soft, the glaze on top was perfect, not too much, and the blueberry flavor was on point. I made my cup of coffee and enjoyed the rest of the donut. And now I'm craving one today. As I was yesterday. We will definitely be coming back! I want to try the Cajun pie that was advertised also. Oh ya, and the kid liked his food too!

Good donut place. Fast, friendly service. Convenient location. Looked up the lone one-star reviewer "Luther"- apparently gives one star reviews of everything!

I didn't get a chance to try the donuts but they had a pretty darn good pork & veggie egg roll. Yes I had one for breakfast and it did not disappoint! I will say, my kids polished off those donuts, but you really can't go wrong with a donut.

I have been coming here for years, since before both my sons were born and they have come here with me. We have a tradition to eat breakfasts here every week since they were born and they love it here. Food is amazing and service is perfect.

Great Local Flavor!We buy donuts here every Sunday morning, and the wonderful ladies know us by name and start preparing our order when we walk in the door! They are so sweet and kind and of course the donuts are delicious. It's not one of these new trendy, hipster donut joints; just good ole fashioned glaze, sugar and dough! Love it! It's a Camp Bowie Staple...

Just bought donuts here...NEVER AGAIN. Asian lady couldn't even look at me. Kept looking at the floor and away from. After she finished my transaction, she ran to the back of the store and just stared at me....WOW.

I don't eat donuts frequently. Mostly because I'm never awake during appropriate donut eating hours. But on the occassion that I do, and I find myself craving something sweet, I stop by Lim's Donuts.Their donuts aren't too cakey or heavy but they're also not the melt on contact type either. I like the texture and they have a pretty large selection of toppings. I've heard good things about their cake donuts too, if that's your sort of thing. Those are a bit heavy for me. If you get there early enough request a freshly made donut and not one sitting in the case. The breakfast burritos and sausage rolls are good too. I like the croissant roll and the breakfast burrito with potato. The bear claw is a monstrous delight, it's the perfect texture with plenty of apple bits.They open at 4 a.m. and seem to have a steady stream of customers all morning. As far as donut places go, this one is pretty good! If only they served donuts in the afternoon...
