Best guisado de res without a doubtIve tried many and nothing comes close. Ive also tried the barbacoa tacos really really good. Its always good with the flour tortillas. Been coming here for many years now its to go only. But it was once indoor dining

The Parrots! Decor: PARROTS! Sadly, not REAL parrots, but paintings, metal, and ceramics.....but I digress...Closes at 2 PM...****CASH ONLY****Menu and food is simple and cheap. Service is friendly and fast. No parrot music is a disappointment. So was opening about 20 minutes late. This transgression was easy to overlook since I was Lodging next door at Motel 6, AND my coffee mug was never cold or empty!

Tried the asado de puerco for the first time and it was fantastic. The pork meat is tender and red chile sauce was well seasoned and not spicy at all. Highly recommend this plate as it is worth every delicious bite.

***NOTICE: CASH ONLY***Don't let the location scare you off. This is an authentic place well worth the visit. Inside, nothing fancy about the decor, but nice and clean. We've been twice now and were impressed with the food both times.Highly recommend the enchiladas verde, the beef enchiladas and the asada de puerco. Next time we go I am going to order the posole. I kept seeing huge bowls of it being delivered to nearby tables, and it looked delicious.If you like little hidden gems that look like dives, this is the place to go. You won't be sorry.

I was referred to this place some time ago and can't begin to tell you how disappointing it turned out to be. The staff was super nice (reason for 2 stars). The food, no. Everything is microwaved, I ordered chilaquiles and they melted slices of what looked and tasted like white American cheese on top. And as someone NOT of Mexican heritage, I make better salsa verde. The refried beans were ok but the tortillas were tough after being microwaved. It's sad to walk in a restaurant and not even smell the food cooking. Will not be returning.

Authentic hole in the wall if you blink you might miss it. Great food, friendly staff, and a good value. There is always a wait due to its small location but well worth it.... Missing that last star due to not accepting debit or credit (cash only)

Food is always hot and very tasty. Lots to choose from . I only give it 4 stars because it's a cash only business. If you're eating breakfast get the chilaquiles. If lunch get the quisado they will make your belly happy!!

Everytime I order here I am blown away by the quality and taste!!! One of the hidden gems in fort worth to be sure!!! The people are so nice and gracious--- my favorite place for mexican food to be sure!!

We love LP. Staff is friendly and quick, food is delicious and comforting. Orders are always correct, hot, and amazing.
