Landon Winery

Landon winery was an intimate winery with an array of wines and small plates. They also have an outside patio which was being utilized to host a birthday celebration the night we visited.Upon arrival, you are given a menu and need to place your order at the counter before being provided with your wine or number for food. After ordering, make your way to your selection of table.We ordered the charcuterie board and the spinach artichoke chicken flatbread along with our wines. Everything tasted delightful.This place is great for date night, catching up with friends, or after work 'wine down'.

Nice place to go on a date or a girls day or night out at. They have both indoor and outside (in the back) sitting. I did like you could get your wine tasting with a little charcuterie board. It was cute and filling. The wine and service were good. I would go back.

This was my first experience of a Grapevine winery. They did a lot of things well. They have a chill environment and a decent amount of seating, including an outdoor patio. They also have games available to play that invites you to sit down and stay awhile. My group played giant uno, and it was a lot of fun. They also have small plates that you can add to your wine tasting for a discounted rate or add it as a stand-alone. One friend got pretzel bites and another friend, and I got a charcuterie board. I appreciated that they allowed me to substitute the meat for an extra piece of cheese and almonds. They also have a cool port cheese. They forgot my crackers originally but bought me some about 10 minutes later.You are able to choose 5 wines, and they have a decent amount to choose from. They also have a few options if you don't like wine. They also have multiple options of packages if you want food or a souvenir glass. The reason I gave them a 4 is because they are not staffed up in a way to make it easy to get served in a timely manner if you are not hanging out at the bar. Also, their pours for the tasting were light compared to what I have had at other places.

If you are looking for a spot to catch up with friends and have a drink, look no further, you have found the place. I was in grapevine celebrating a friends birthday and she was wanting to do some wine tasting. Our only issue was some of the places we went to either didn't serve their own wines or didn't have a tasting flight. Someone suggested this to us and seriously, I don't drink wine but I was happy we stumbled on in. When we walked in we were told to take a seat anywhere we liked and there was plenty of seating inside but there is also a patio in the back. However what they didn't say was "come to the bar to order" so we sat for a moment waiting on someone to come help us before we realized that wasn't about to happen. Their tasting flight allows you to almost pick anything on the menu with a few exceptions but you get 5 pours for $20 and they do have the option to add on options like a take home glass or a small charcuterie board for a little extra. However they also have games available for you to play so your group can play scrabble or uno or one of the many other games they have while sipping on your wine. I think we stayed longer than we had anticipated because we were having so much fun. The charcuterie board I got was a nice little variety of things. My only issue is it seems like what people got varied and I didn't get to choose what I got. So the lady at table next us got nuts, my friend got olives on hers and so on. The only hang up, you don't get all your wines at the same time. You have to keep going back up to the bar each time you want a refill. Would I come back . . . Yes, and once again, wine isn't really my thing but I got down with this!

As a wine club member I enjoy unbelievable benefits. The first 20% off. Y'all, I take advantage of this at every Landon. This is a nice location. It has a nice patio, and a great indoor area. We enjoy coming as a family. It's not our usual location but we enjoy it the same. Everyone who works here has been very kind.

We spent the afternoon down in Grapevine. The day before the big festival and I have to say- we were a little disappointed. Only one employee working and she wasn't that friendly. As a wine enthusiast I really wanted to hear about each wine, the history of the winery and some of the highlights or awards. She pretty much was just a wine pourer. None of us bought anything- next winery on the block we bought over 8 bottles. Wines were ok, great location and decorated cool with an outdoor patio! Potential is there it just fell flat this time

We stopped by for a tasting as part of the North Texas Wine Trail. Great location on Main Street in downtown historic Grapevine, close to a free parking lot. Ambiance was cozy and classy inside the tasting room. There was a large covered patio in back with a fireplace. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Wine is excellent, both from Texas and elsewhere. Definitely stop by for a glass!

Always a fave ! It is super busy today but Ashley is doing a great job considering the crowd. Also a chill place but today it's hopping ! Also loved the spinach artichoke flatbread !

Server- Ashley I traveled to Texas and came to Landon Winery because it was recommended to me! When I went I had a terrible experience, my server who had no hospitality at all and she was very rude. They have great wine but i will not go back because of the inexcusable service the server ashley had. Perhaps hospitality training should be provided to your staff to ensure they don't run customers away from your business.

Great options for sweet wines, most of which having peach incorporated. For the tasting you get 5 1.5oz pours, which is very generous compared to others I've been to. Despite it being very busy when I went I did not have to wait long at the bar for the next wine tasting pours.
