I truly enjoyed my time at Lakeview Camp these past couple of days! I wanted to take some time to shout out- Mrs. Carla from the camp office for the quick responses and flexibility! Mrs. Tracy and Mrs. Kathy and your entire team in the dining hall- the food was amazing and thank you for accommodating our special dietary needs. The Waffle Bar was a huge hit with the students. Zac, Josh & Phillip with 360AVL- thank you! Your service is top tier and I truly enjoyed serving with you guys! Mrs. Carpenter thanks for always greeting me with your beautiful smile. Your team is amazing and all were very friendly and helpful! Last but not least Zac & Josh- I don't know what I would have done without you guys. The quick response, going about and beyond of what was asked was a breath of fresh air. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for making this one of the best student retreats ever!

This place is great for kids. I came here on a work trip with a group of youth and they all enjoyed themselves. There were other groups here as well like a youth baseball team. There were good activities here for them that included inside game play, full basketball court, archery, volleyball, workout area, and a huge lake area to name a few. I learned archery while I was here. I surprise myself Lol. The lake area has a huge water activity for people to enjoy. Sleeping arrangements are cabins (bunk beds twin size) with shared showers and restrooms. You share with the group you're with. What I didn't like was ALLL THE WALKING!!! OMG! Be prepared to do a lot of walking because a lot of the areas are spaced out with the lake being the longest walk. If you are here when the sun is frying you like I was, make sure you are drinking plenty of water!!

Great location for church retreats and family reunions. The staff is warm & friendly and there are plenty of activities to do: paddle boating, hayrides, volleyball, bonfires and a bunch of other summer camp-type stuff. The food is...meh but you don't come for that! You come to get away from the city, get close to nature and get together with friends. So much fun!

BLESSINGS BLESSINGS BLESSINGS!Our neighborhood was evacuated due to flooding in Houston, Texas. Hurricane Harvey over filled the reservoirs uphill from our home and the water had to be released (without notice) into our neighborhood. We arrived at Lakeview Camp without any money in our bank account and no food other than some snacks and what was left of our mini credit card. The employees welcomed us with so much love and tears in their eyes. They put us right into a nice, clean and comfortable room and gave us access to their entire beautiful camp. The very blessed and beautiful Owen family who live and work on property, actually went grocery shopping for us and surprised us with a huge basket of groceries, gift card and toys for our two small children. I cried like a little girl when I saw what these wonderful Christian people did for us. They all treated us like we were big tippers and we were without money. The camp was so clean and so beautiful that we went around taking photos with our children and just had a wonderful time being there. It was our flood-cation, is what I told my kids and they made it feel like a true, 1st class vacation. We could just feel the presence of the Lord in the camp and you can tell that this place and the people who work at the camp are blessed by God. What a beautiful experience and such great memories is not what we were expecting, when we left home. Just look where God guided us in a time of desperation. GOD BLESS LAKEVIEW CAMP, THE CHURCH AND THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE THAT WORK AT THE CAMP (IN THE NAME OF JESUS) we are forever grateful.Thank you Kim, Miles, Karen and all of the other good hearted people at the camp that came to our rescue and treated us with such dignity and love.

I've been coming to this retreat center for over 8 years twice a year and the quality has gone down every year and the prices have jumped. The food here used to phenomenal, always hot, fresh, and delicious. I came back this year to paper thin bacon and eggs for some reason they decided to douse with sugar. The cabins seems to just have gotten dirtier and the mattresses are pathetic.I mean I totally understand increasing prices, but if you're gonna do so, you better show your customers the increase in quality they're getting. Did ownership change or something? How does a business go so downhill in such a short period of time. I'm heavily disappointed and if this continues our church will have to search for a different retreat center for our retreats. Well at least everyone is still nice..

By far the best facilities and accommodations for camps, retreats, conferences, getaways, etc. The people are incredible and really put in the work to make sure everything is kept up and all needs are met. The perfect place for kids and teens - indoor/outdoor pool, waterslide park, paintball, a skate park - simply the best.

Great retreat center. Water parks, skate park, lakes, trails, sports activities, plenty of meeting spaces and conference areas, huge cabins, hotel type rooms, cafeteria... A great facility for a small group or hundreds. It's got it all and it's beautiful. Love Lakeview.

Excellent facility. I believe this is my third year. Food is better than average for camp food. Good variety at each meal. Very comfortable beds in Adams-Mangrum Motel (the only area I've stayed). Facilities are very clean and well-maintained. Lots of activities to choose from or just sit in peaceful, beautiful surroundings. Great for church retreats, summer camp, etc.

Been coming to this camp for years, and this year was the best yet. The office staff was great with our pre event planning. The hosts were so friendly and the food was great. Love the new fresh made pizzas! We really enjoyed the black light dodgeball and the revolution on the lake! Can't wait to go back!
