I'm back in town after 20 years, and the food here is just as delicious and the atmosphere just as delightful as I remember growing up (even after the remodel, though I'll always picture the original place). The Birthday Sombrero still hangs on the wall, beckoning or threatening depending on whether or not you like being the center of attention. My siblings and I would always pick La Fiesta when it was our turn to choose a restaurant. We've eaten here twice in 3 weeks after assembling all together for the first time in 22 years. Each dish like a hammer of delicious nostalgia. Arturo continues to be a friend to my family and a friendly face whenever we run into him. I'm sure we will gladly eat here again before we leave. Get Gigi's Cheese Bomb, or Blast, or whatever it's called. We called it cheese tacos back in the day and they are still bomb. I compare all restaurant salsa and chips to La Fiesta's, no matter where I am in the world, and it is still something special! In my 40 years I've only ever had a satisfying meal and a good time coming here.

This was by far worst recommended Mexican food restaurant I've ever walked into and had the absolute opposite of luxury dealing with. The building itself on the inside is a decent piece of work that looks good for what I thought would be a good restaurant. The chips and salsa were good for being complimentary. However, the mass of dairy cheese they melted in a tray did not qualify itself as Queso. The meals we ordered all had good presentation on their plates, but there was no good substance of food on the plates. Everything was baked in old oil, and tasted burnt. The best part of the meal was walking out the door thanking that it was over.

If you order the Fajitas second guess it. They keep the meat in metal pans and not in the cooler. They keep it out on the table all day with no ice under it. The owner is disrespectful to his employees and is never the blame for anything. He is so rude and don't pay his employees. I should know. I'm a former employee. He thinks he knows everything and knows more than you do. I wouldn't go there to eat. They don't wear gloves when making the food. So your food could be contaminated. Think twice about going there!!!!

this was the worst Mexican food I have ever had, I was sick to my stomach just 3 bites into my tacos. The food for the 4 of us did not come out all together, the chips and salsa was good but the queso came out in one big clump. The menus had at least 3 words misspelled. The sweet tea was burnt and not very good, and the water tasted salty. Also the guacamole was old and not the correct color. I would only recommend this place to someone I hate because it would leave them running to the bathroom all day. I immediately ran to the bathroom after my 3 bites of my tacos.

Went in right before closing time. The folks were more than obliging. Great great service. I ordered Mexican plate with taco, tostada and two enchiladas. Rice n beans Enchiladas were awesome. Rice n beans tad dry perhaps cuz it was last of the pan due to closing time . Hubs ordered beef fajitas says they were good. Agreed his rice n beans were tad dry too. Nice ambiance with Mexico decor. The only thing was the rice n beans were dry kinda our fault for showing up so late. Definitely going back.

A two star rating is about all I can give. I asked for spinach enchiladas, and the spinach was crunchy. The sauce was bland. I had to add salt and pepper just for some type of flavor. My daughter ordered steak fajitas, and the meat was so overcooked that it tasted like charcoal, and the texture was like beef jerky, we also ordered 2 bloody Mary's and they were so spicy you couldn't taste anything else. They were horrible. And to top it off, we waited almost 45 minutes for our food, and there was only one other couple in the entire restaurant. This place needs some improvement. I probably won't return.

Food was awful, bit into a toothpick (stuck the roof of my mouth) in the chimichanga we ordered, two of our group members didn't even get their food, orders were wrong, manager/owner was rude and dismissive when these things were brought to his attention. Definitely keep driving and find another place to dine.

The wife and I went out to have breakfast at a local restaurant here in town this Sunday. When we got there, we found a note on the door that they were closed due to a staff shortage, bummer. After the typical, "where do you want to go, I don't know, where do you want to go??" We decided to do brunch at La Fiesta(it was right next door "). We were the first customers through the door, yeah! We did have to wait for 20 minutes or so before the buffet was ready to go. The owner was very busy but did take time to talk to us that he was a bit behind, again due to staffing shortages. We were very pleased with the service our waitress provided and the buffet offered us a great selection to choose from at a very reasonable price. The cabbage soup was delicious. As Arnold might says, "We will be back".
