King Crab House

The nice things: staff, big screen TVs, interior decor. Don't expect anything Cajun here! The food was mostly BLAND & pricey. The pastas don't even come with a garlic bread. The "Cajun" flavor is really nonexistent. If you have a stomach sensitive to spices, then yeah.. this would be a place for you. The Cajun pasta was bland, no "Cajun" kick AT ALL, but the shrimps were plump & juicy. The garlic noodles were tastier than Cajun pasta, but the salmon was on dry side & very mild in flavors. The fried oysters were the best item we got, crispy on outside, juicy inside. The 2 crab-cakes come with 4 (yes, FOUR) pieces of fries for &16! They were ok, not spectacular. Fries were BLAND. The chicken strips were pretty good, not spectacular, but again LACKING the Cajun flavors whatsoever on the crispy fries. This place is not for us, we won't go back.

My daughter and I tried out this spot for dinner on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. It was around 6pm and when we arrived we were immediately seated. Our waiter was a young man, seemed fairly new, but was very attentive. He got my Arnold Palmer and my daughter's oyster appetizer order wrong, but he was a trooper and made sure we were good for the rest of our meal I got the Rangoon appetizer and the king crab/shrimp. It was good, needed a touch of salt, to bring out the boil seasoning. Decent spot.

Service was good, i waiter was very friendly! The food was 8/10 no real complaints besides the shrimp being a little over cooked! Restaurant was clean, music choice was good

Alcoholic drink - horrible! I ordered a cosmopolitan and it tasted like souped up water. I've had them before at other locations and that wasn't a cosmopolitan. The egg rolls were great and fresh. The seafood boil was awful! No seasoning. Just butter - crawfish & shrimp. I order a half pound of shrimp and got 4 total. It was so much garlic to it choked me up. Never going to this location again! It's a Wednesday.very slow. 1 waiter, whom was the bartender, waiter, seems like the cook, etc!

Been here several times over the past few years and they never disappoint. Seated promptly by the friendly host. Restaurant was clean and orderly. Server was very attentive and helpful. We ordered crab and shrimp combos with lemon pepper and garlic butter. Delicious! We'll be back.

First time here and food was amazing! Alec was great and very attentive. We will for sure be back!

I didn't care for the catfish basket that I had however my wife loved the snow crab legs that she had. The atmosphere is nice and the music was dope. I didn't try a cocktail this time but I'll come back just to have a couple of cocktails. Our waiter was on top of it a gentleman by the name of Deangelo.

It is so sad, I almost didn't come here because of so many bad reviews! Thank goodness I didn't listen to them!! The food was incredible, the service was incredible, the prices were comparable to any fresh crab house. We will be back many times. The shrimp and crab were as fresh as we have eaten in Galveston!!

Placed order for delivery. Never received confirmation! Called business they did find order and delivered in a timely manner.

Ordered the shrimp boil. It was TERRIBLE. It was dry and just nasty. I was only able to eat one shrimp and one piece of sausage before asking for the check. Hurt me to my heart to pay $22 for something so bad. If you live in the area, don't waste your time. There are so many other crab boil places that are so much better.
