Still agree: Always amazing food. Cute little hole in the wall with AMAZING food. Onions rings are my absolute favorite ever. Everything you get there is good. Service is always quick too.

Stopped in for lunch and the food was outstanding. Did the fish and chicken combo and was very good. Cooked perfectly and fast friendly service. A great stop to get a very reasonable meal

Great catfish. Cornmeal batter is one of the best ever. My grand daughter had the chicken strip sandwich and she really liked it too. Good atmosphere. We will definitely be back next time in town.!!

We stopped here while passing through town. It was the juiciest chicken, moist cole slaw, and homemade ranch. The price was very reasonable.

We called in an order on the way through town. I ordered that catfish dinner 5 piece. It came with coleslaw and fries, but only 4 pieces of fish. They were bigger pieces but four not five. Coleslaw was terrible and fries were old and greasy like they were dropped in the oil to reheat. Fish was good! Husband had 6 piece tender meal, only came with fries. Kids meal chicken nuggets came with 3 nuggets like you would get out of a Tyson chicken bag. No flavor except grease taste. Fries again were disgusting and old. Two large half and half teas. Perfect not too sweet. Outside the building has tall weeds growing in their asphalt, trash all over, inside the floors had so much food and spilled drinks. Entire place could use a little TLC by just normal maintain and clean. Credit card fee is 5%. There is NOT a single credit card company who charges that so of course they are making profit there too.

my husband and I ordered the steak fingers. the grease was old and the meat tasted off. They served water from the tap. The table was sticky and I have never seen a floor so dirty. The baseboards edges were caked with filthy. That place needs to be gutted and cleaned top to bottom. I will not return.

Really good fried fish and a classic diner atmosphere. The employees were very nice and helpful. Will be back many times.

I had ate here many years before and loved it. I am sending this review not only so that you will know what needs work but to give the young waitress a great big ATTA- GIRL. She was great! She was as sweet as peaches She had great customer skills looking each person in the eyes as she took their order. Spoke up and clear. Repeated the order back with precision and she was very attentive to the kids and refills etc. She is also the main reason that I didn't insist on a correction in the check due to so much being bad. I wish I could remember her name. We were there a little before dark on the 23 of Dec. 2024. If that helps to know who the young lady was. The decor was very cute. Two of the kids ordered kids catfish, One ordered Cheeseburger, One ordered steak fingers myself and the oldest ordered adult catfish. The food tasted a bit like it was cooked in old grease. All of the fries was defiantly old grease and tasted as if they had been left sitting in grease for a while. All of the salt shaker, lemon dispenser, table and Ketchup dispenser all felt sticky and greasy. The bathrooms where very dirty and the floor felt greasy as you walked. but also had black nasty stuff all around the edges. My philosophy is if the bathroom that the public can see is nasty then what does the kitchen look like that we can't see. Over all I was disappointed in how such a wonderful little place has been allowed to run down so bad is such a short time. Please hear my concerns. I love local hometown business.

We eat here every chance we can! love the fish and steak fingers. Great service and delicious food.

Not much ambiance, but you go to a restaurant for food, right? The service was very slow, but the waitress was apologetic and also very busy/hardworking herself. The catfish doesn't taste muddy, which some can, and the cornmeal breading is thick yet light. The fried chicken has a heavy crispy batter and the chicken is moist but not greasy -best fried chicken I've had in a long time.Portion size is huge, a family platter is enough for a few meals.
