It was my first time here today and I'm really glad I stopped by this afternoon. I walked in only looking for a takeout menu, but I was warmly and happily greeted by the hostess and she convinced me to take a seat and review their menu which is only available online.There is a LOT to choose from on their menu. I was craving ramen, but after seeing the number of bento box choices, I decided to get the steak teriyaki bento box. Lunch specials last until 3pm and include a choice of 2 or 3 sushi rolls or you can select from the list of bento boxes.The restaurant is very calming, nicely decorated and clean. Artwork adorns the interior and there is also a small sushi bar that seats up to four people.My beef teriyaki bento box was incredible and included an 8-10oz sliced teriyaki steak, small portions of miso soup, ginger dressing salad, four pieces of California roll sushi, one shrimp and four veggie tempura, and a cup of steamed rice. Soy sauce and a ginger sauce for dipping is also included.Overall, the meal was exceptional. The miso soup was absolutely incredible, the ginger salad was refreshing and the tempura pieces were very delicious and cooked to perfection. The beef teriyaki was cooked perfectly as well. You can also order wasabi which I like to eat with my sushi.I really enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere and look forward to coming back and trying other items in the menu.

This was the first time that I had been this bistro! We had a pretty good experience overall. It was a little smaller than we had expected but the taste of the food and the service overall was great. The bistro was clean for the most part and we enjoyed the little booths! There was the perfect amount of space for three people! We also went during lunch time and the prices were very affordable! Would definitely go back especially during lunch time :)

If you want mall food quality and employees that don't listen, then this is your place. Tried twice (for benefit of the doubt), but NOPE. The two times I ordered, I called and asked them to include wasabi for the (I guess you could call them California rolls) and surprise, not found anywhere. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box both times and will never order from this place again.

Prices were high, portions and flavor were low. Probably my least liked Japanese restaurant in the Richardson/Plano area. $18 sushi rolls.. inflation, I get it, happy to pay if the roll is decent and well portioned. Had some of the smallest amount of fish I've gotten on a roll anywhere."Seasoned Calamari" was not, there was no seasoning/flavor or sauce served with it.Ramen was fine, inoffensive. Service was good-- there were only two tables occupied during our visit.Bill for 2 apps, Ramen, and 1 roll was $70 not including tip. If the food was good, OK. It wasn't.

I don't like giving bad reviews but this one is a must read. First of, the yelp reviews says 4stars but i can't. First of all, service was very slow. Im not sure if the server is just new or what. Food is 1-2stars. Food is small portion and we ordered sashimi and what came looks like a leftover piece of fish. Overall, this is not good. We were not happy.

This Japanese Bistro is a family run business with a husband and wife team. Many reviews complain about the service, but keep in mind that it is a family business. This sweet couple is taking care of both front and back of house. I will take genuine respect and appreciation for the customers over speed any day.The food is really good. Hubby and I shared an Agedashi Tofu and Takoyaki appetizers. The Agedashi Tofu pieces were large and not overly coated, which we prefer. I had the tonkasu ramen and Hubby the Kim Chee ramen. Both ramens are flavorful, and not too salty.Hubby and I will be back to try sushi, bento boxes, and yakitori.
