Stopped in on a whim today. I'm glad I searched for burgers in the area. Monday around 5:30p so not very busy at all.Service was great! The cashier was welcoming. We told her it was our first time and she gave us some suggestions. I had the daily special. Cheeseburger, fries and a drink for $11! You get a good size burger. At least 1/4 pound but might have been more. The patty was hand formed and had some flavor to it!! I loved it. Great amount of fries and the seasoned very well. *burgers come with red onion - I know that's a must for some people lol They have a huge menu. My mom had the 2pc catfish basket and she said it was flavorful and pieces were big. It came with fries and hush puppies. Everything was made fresh.Dining area is very spacious. They have tables, a high top, and booths. Soda machine does not have any diet/zero sugar options but they do have them in cans. Could be a turn off for anyone that drinks more than one cup of soda but for me I was good with the Unsweetened Gold Peak tea. Great first experience and I can't wait to go back. I'm from Oak Cliff and other than Crown Deli there aren't too many good burger spots. I know everyone is hype for the new smash burger place that just opened in Oak Cliff but I'm making the drive and coming to Jimmy's. *Not sure if they always have the same specials.

Just wants to find a spot for lunch half the distance of my friend and stumbled on this gem. The flavor wasn't unique but the natural beef and fresh cut fries did it for me. Service was outstanding as the cashiers were very friendly and welcoming knowing it was our first time. Inside had a good ol country vibe which was fitting for the thousands of burgers on the menu. I got a regular burger but next time I'll try the specialty burgers. I will return and recommend that you give it a try.

Really GOOD burgers! Chili cheese fries I think it needed more cheese on top and the Philly steak more steak! I really liked my Double Deluxe Burger with curly fries! Meat was well seasoned and tender, OverALL I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu! Thanks Jimmy!

When I'm craving a fresh real delicious burger I come here. I always get the blue cheeseburger and it's perfect every time. The flavors of the grilled onions with crispy bacon and blue cheese is the best combo. They're fast and well priced for what you're getting!

Delicious burgers and you can get most anything under the sun. Menu is huge. There can be a line to get in and order but they have indoor and outdoor seating that you pick yourself. Breakfast is great and service is fast. Nice little dinner. Feels like a place you'd find back east down the block.

It was very good. Was expecting a "dive" but not at all. Except the restrooms are. Good selection of many different burgers. Lots of specials. I had the bbq burger. Was good. My wife had the mushroom burger. She said it was very good. Lots of fries with it. Whisk well would have tried the onion rings. They looked really good. The only negative was the price is a bit much. But isn't everything nowadays?Would highly recommend.

We came here after a soccer game and have no regrets!I tried the Philly Cheesesteak, the Double Cheeseburger, onion rings and fries. Everyone else had cheeseburgers. Everything we had was really delicious. The burgers are Texas size, if you know what I mean! Their service was quick and easy. It is the perfect spot for a family on the go like us for a quick, yummy meal. Want to try their wings next time!
