This place was really hard to find. Google maps totally sent me to wrong location. This is around the corner from the Omi Grill and it's kind of facing MacArthur drive. We came in around 2 for a late lunch on Sunday and the restaurant was half empty. There is plenty of seating - 4 booths and also a few tables that can be combined for larger groups. The service was pretty awesome - there's only one girl working the dining area and she takes care of everything including cashier, waitressing, bussing the tables. On top of everything she had to do, she was still pretty attentive to every table. We ordered an M4 (yang pyung sin ne haejangkuk), M5 (ttagui haejang kuk), and M6 (jokbal junsik). I'm actually really glad they had the M6 which is a jokbal enough for a single person (supposedly). We've been craving jokbal but were worried we wouldn't have room for anything else if it was the family-size version. The side dishes were pretty great; I especially liked the picked radish. It was so good that I even asked for some to-go afterwards. The entrees came out pretty quick and were pretty good. I really loved the M4 - the tripe was chewy, the blood cakes were spongy, and the broth was light and the flavors from the blood cake and tripe were really soaked in. The portion was perfect for one person too. The M5 was pretty good - it came with giant beef neck bones covered in meat that was just delicious. Both M4 and M5 had tons of bean sprouts and dried napa cabbage in the broth. The M6 had very generous servings of jokbal to the point that it might have been better to split between two people. It also came with a bowl of veggie soondubu. All in all, it was a pretty great experience.

Food is decent.Bossam was a solid "good."The M5 soup was alright.Service was strange. I hate ice in my water...but I didn't complain when I got it..bc whatever....lol...But y'all....I was SO thirsty ... I sucked down all my water, and then was tipping the cup up to bag the ice out bc I was so thirsty. And the lady at the counter literally watched the whole time as I kept doing this.Strange Strange.Very strange.Sooooooo....I won't be back.

We ordered takeout so I can't comment on the ambience or in-person service. But what we got was so good. I ordered the spicy beef soup and it was delicious. We also ordered some beef ribs that were tender and flavorful. I will definitely try this place again. We ordered the M3, M5, and M9.

Glad to try another great Korean spot in Carrollton. We ordered the Ttagui Haejang Kuk, beef neck bone soup & Bosam Jungsik. The soup was hot and delicious. The beef fell off the soup easily and was super tender. The bosam is their signature, super delicious. By dipping in the sauce and wrapping in lettuce, it makes the perfect bite. We absolutely loved this place!

Meat is nice flavorful and tender 3 very sad side dishes are all sour pickled, not appetizing at all. Soup was also mediocre Would only come again for the meats. Service and time to receive food took very long.

The food here is delicious!! From the main dish to the sides, the flavors and quality are excellent. The only downside and reason I am not giving 5 stars is almost a suffering from success story. They are so busy during peak times that service can be a little slow. Seating is a bit limited cause it is a on the smaller side.

I'm not sure how I haven't written a review for this place yet! Love their bossam and is probably the only place in DFW I go to for Bossam. Their sides are fresh and crunchy and tasty the way I like them! Prompt, courteous, friendly service. I normally order Bossam, but I've tried other items as well and haven't been disappointed. If you've never had Bossam, I highly recommend it and definitely wrap it with the cabbage leaves, some kimchi, and the garlic/jalapeño combo (the garlic weirdly make the jalapeño less spicy!). The restroom does smell like cleaning products though but I'm not sure that's a bad thing? I'm glad they're keeping it clean!
