Italiano’s Capriccio

Second time here. Went about a year ago. Kids like it and was recommended by one of my teenagers friends. Didn't leave a review last time and should have.Service was good. Server was good. Food was terrible. Son got the margarita pizza. Dough was rather flavorless. Tomatoes on top were pale red (likely over cooked or not ripe. Basil was not fresh and was cooked nearly to a crisp. I recommended to my . son saying "you will love it" hoping he'd be a bit more adventurous with his eating. I was wrong, it was bad. Wife got the three pasta sampler. It came in one bowl and didn't look likkee three different things. Looked like some noodles, ricotta all drenched in red sauce. It was flavorless. Just tasted like a can of tomatoes. She ate three bites.I had the chicken verdure. Have had it before elsewhere, liked it very much.. noodles were done well, but menu said "light garlic olive oil and it was dripping in olive oil. Probably 2-3 oz of olive oil at the bottom of my normal sized portioned bowl. Forking my food to the side to eat off the top part that was drained aa bit better, it had zero flavor. I added salt, pepper but it really juustst didn't help.We had 9 other teenage girls with us, they all seemed content or polite and mostly were just happy and being silly.If I could did give zero stars I would. This is not very good Italian food. Perhaps Azle Texas just doesn't know any better. I'll never go back. $400+, only thing good was the bread rolls. The first experience was actually way worse as the owner argued with me over my egg battered veal was supposed to be soggy and the menu had a mistake when it said "battered."

I have eaten dinner here several times, but The breakfast is absolutely phenomenal!I had their version of eggs benedict and I was very impressed! All in our party gave glowing reviews of their meals. The hornet omelette was reported as excellent, the biscuits and gravy were great, and the french toast was some of the best, according to others in my party. The service has been excellent both times I visited! Super friendly waitstaff, lots of fun! The restaurant is quiet and a very nice place to have breakfast.

Place looks like a small pub inside. A place I would order from again for food but more of a small dark pub environment. Excellent Italian food and was impressed. That written, not a family atmosphere and they could make a lot more money if they brightened it up in the day and catered/advertised to families as they do have great Italian food that's up there in quality. Pricing to high especially for pub atmosphere so probably losing on order that could be for pub goers. Drop price a few points, lighten up and be a family go to place until evening and they would be rocket it. Order take out and you are good. Pub day or night you are good. Too bad, excellent food but so much profit lost on this place that they could capitalize on in this small young city.

Birthday party on patio for around 45 people. Service was great and food was great. 5 Star for me.

Great Italian food and quick service. I had the trio combo- delicious! We will be back!!

As of Spring 2022, this is probably the best dining establishment in Azle. We arrived just before 7pm on a Friday night and expected it to be busy. It was, but surprisingly we were seated quickly. We were greeted by a host, a manager said hi to us and quickly took drink orders. Our server came by shortly after and we ordered the garlic tomato bread to start. Do not skip the rolls and garlic bread, they are both amazing options!!! For dinner, we shared a medium chicken Alfredo pizza, as it was listed as a specialty, and a chicken parmigiana. Both we're really good. The crust on this pizza was very smooth, I enjoyed it a lot. Wish the pizza had more sauce, but that's my personal preference. The chicken parmigiana was cooked perfectly and was not tough. Very delicious and I'd highly recommend. The only complaint I can think of was we had to ask for refills one time, but every employee was clearly running around the restaurant doing something, so they get a pass on being a busy Friday night. The restaurant was very clean, every employee seemed to be contributing to something, the service was fast despite being a busy Friday night.... I'm impressed. Many other restaurants cannot currently serve up this level of quality, definitely worth giving Italiano Capriccio a try!

We ordered Chicken Picata tonight and it was terrible!! No capers and runny butter sauce, no lemon at all. We typically order once a week from here but will not again.

The food is amazing. Been there for lunch and dinner. Always fresh and never microwaved. Now they are open for breakfast!! We went there today... very good.The service is friendly, accommodating and efficient!The atmosphere is warm, inviting and clean! They even have a patio that's great for any meal or a glass of wine with friends!

We haven't ordered from Capriccio's in a while because it was too expensive for the quality of food we had been receiving. Decided to try it again over the weekend. We ordered a pizza and it was worse than any fast food pizza we've had to date. The dough was horrible. It didn't appear to be mixed properly and wasn't cooked all the way through. Someone used tons of garlic powder to the point it was bitter. We threw away all but the two pieces we originally tried. Waste of money and will not make the mistake again.

First visit and not disappointed! Great service by Ce! Pizza is excellent and several good brews on tap!
