Took my trach baby to the Discovery Center and had a wonderful time! We went in the am during the week when there were no crowds & practically had the whole place to ourselves. Lots of fun interactive installations and we learned a few new things. It's a great place to learn more about how science helps prove the Bible. Cost was very affordable and I loved that there was enough space to push her wagon around freely w/o worrying about knocking into ppl or things :)

A wonderful museum for both secular and Christian natural history lovers! Each show scene is carefully designed to explain how scientific research proves Scripture and there's plenty for all ages to enjoy. My fiancé especially loved the immersivw Noah's Ark room and the planetarium show we attended. There is a lecture hall that you can visit for free and we were able to sit in on a 30 minute lecture about Leviathan which was very informative. We will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed our visit! I think my expectations were along the lines of Perot Museum, ICR is not nearly as huge as Perot for anyone else who has that same assumption based on the map. We were told it could take a few hours to explore which also added to my assumption. If you have children in tow and let them play, then yes. If you're going with adults and reading/walking through exhibits I'd say more like one hour. We bought tickets for the Planetarium as well which was 25 minutes long. Either way, great place! My children loved designing their own dinos and playing in the sandboxes. I enjoyed the Ice Age film, it was so informative. Lots of scripture to back up the ideas that I hadn't even thought of before. Thought-provoking for sure.If you bring a lunch, there is a green space outdoors for enjoying your meal. There are only vending machines inside at the backside of the gift shop where the restrooms are located.

The ICR Discovery Center in Dallas, TX, offers an interesting perspective on its approach to creationism. The integration of biblical stories with scientific evidence, coupled with modern touch screen explanations and exhibits, provides a well put together and thoughtful presentation. As a lifelong learner, I particularly found the theories challenging Darwinism, natural selection, and survival of the fittest very intriguing. This highlights the center's success in creating an engaging and thought-provoking environment. The inclusion of a planetarium adds an extra dimension to the overall experience. Enjoyed the museum.

The facility was too religious oriented. The facts they gave Especially about the ice age and Noah's ark were absolutely false. They claimed the ice age was 3100 years BC. The earth was 10,000 years old. Absolutely ridiculous! The solar system film would have been nice except for the absurd religious content. Don't waste your money folks - you'll be sorely disappointed!

A very unique and interactive museum. Great for your little people. Plan for an hour to and hour half with your little person. But if you have time to read and try things without a little person tugging at your legs, you could easily stay here for 2 hours. Everyone was so kind and answered all our questions. Would recommend!

Excellent daytime experience for any occasion as we made it part of a date activity. The museum explores the various historical aspects of events that have taken place and are currently happening. The museum does encompass a religious element to its exhibits that engage for a solo trip, couples, families of 2 or more with children of all ages, and persons with disabilities. Customer service was superior from the time we walked in the door as we explored each museum area. You also have the option to add on 1-3 short films with designated times (Additional charge). We watched a short movie about spaces and evolution at the end of the exhibit visits. The planetarium has comfortable and spacious seats (TIP: Stand in line early to pick a good seat once permitted inside). The tour guides in each area were knowedgeable and pleasant.

My family enjoyed this beautiful center, it's very organized, clean, family-friendly, and there's a lot to see and do. We booked one of the planetarium shows, which was really enjoyable. The auditorium area is like a mini planetarium...perfect for kids. This is a Christian-based science center, so they provide another perspective to history, sciences, and discovery...always good to have an open mind! The walk-through area was really fun, there are interactive displays, come-to-life portraits of inventors and discoverers debating their findings, and there's a to-scale area that shows what the inside Noah's ark could have been like. Makes for a fun family outing!

This place is fun and educational. They have a planetarium and 4 shows including one of their own on deep space that has a lot of content from the Hubble telescope and the newer deep space telescopes.

I found the ICR both informative and very well put together. Although I didn't walk away convinced of the young earth theory I will be sure to return to learn more. The displays were amazing and as far as creation it left no doubt as to a Creator. The best part for me was not the museum itself but in one of the staff. Ann was more than patiently willing to answer all of my questions. She was so kind and full of knowledge even to a doubter like myself. If you go seek her out she is amazing.
