Food = 5 | Service = 4 | Ambiance = 5A hidden gem in Deep Ellum that transports you straight to Japan!Ramen Heaven in the Heart of DallasIchigoh Ramen Lounge is a true hidden gem nestled in the vibrant Deep Ellum neighborhood of Dallas. As someone who's experienced authentic ramen in Japan, I can confidently say that Ichigoh delivers an incredibly traditional and satisfying experience. The star of the show is, without a doubt, their incredible ramen. The broth is a masterpiece of flavor - rich, complex, and perfectly balanced. Each spoonful is a journey through layers of umami that will have you savoring every last drop. The noodles have that ideal springy texture, and the toppings are generously portioned and of the highest quality. What truly sets Ichigoh apart is their attention to detail. The butterfly pea flower tea is a delightful non-alcoholic, caffeine-free option that adds a touch of magic to your meal. It starts as a striking blue and transforms to a beautiful purple with a squeeze of lemon - a fun and Instagram-worthy drink that perfectly complements the hearty ramen. The ambiance at Ichigoh is spot-on, transporting you to a cozy ramen shop in Tokyo. The space is simple yet inviting, with a focus on the food rather than flashy décor. It's the perfect setting for a casual date night or a comforting solo meal. While the service was generally good, it can be a bit slow during peak hours. However, the wait is well worth it for the quality of food you receive.Pro tip: Parking in Deep Ellum can be challenging. There's a parking garage (it's $15 and won't be validated) right beside the restaurant I'd recommend you map to. Also, the door to the elevators when going back up to your car can be easy to miss. All that said, trust me, braving the parking situation is a small price to pay for this exceptional ramen experience.Whether you're a ramen aficionado or new to the world of Japanese noodle soups, Ichigoh Ramen Lounge is a must-visit spot in Dallas. It's a taste of Japan that will leave you planning your next visit before you've even finished your bowl.

We happened to find this place thanks to a very lengthy Reddit comment about great food places in Dallas. It was within walking distance of our hotel, and it was quite chilly which made it the perfect place to go. Even with Google maps, it took us a minute to find it because of how nondescript the door was. We were immediately seated, but we noticed that it started to fill up pretty quicky soon after! The food was AMAZING! As a vegetarian, it can be difficult to find ramen I can eat. Not only does Ichigoh have vegetarian/vegan ramen, but they have THREE!! That is unheard of and made me feel like they really cared about their customers with dietary restrictions. Each of the three ramens were unique and thoughtfully crafted. We ended up getting some veggie buns to share and our own spicy miso ramen. Both items were DELICIOUS! At some point, I was too full to continue eating but forced myself to keep trying because it felt like a sin to waste such amazing ramen. Their drinks were also delightful. I ordered a strawberry mojito and it was super refreshing and light. I will say that the service was a little slow, but we didn't mind. It's a small shop with a small staff, so it's to be expected. We will def be coming back when we're back in Dallas.

This place feels hidden in plain site. Located in Deep Ellum you wouldn't know it was there unless you were going to it. It gives it a cool vibe. The decor and lighting feel very classy as well. I like that they had a lot of unique appetizers and ramens to try. I find them to be a bit slow coming around to take orders. When i was ready for the check even though we had been waiting i had to wave someone over. There was also an issue with my check. I was billed for 4 entrees when we only had 3. When i told them about it they argued with me over which the third entree was and which needed to be removed. There was a $1 price difference so i didn't care i just didn't want to pay for 4 bowls of ramen when we only had 3. I ordered the special ramen of the month- black garlic oil pork ribs ramen. It was delish and made people in my party jealous with how good it looked. I added on the egg since it did not come with one. The meat fell off the bone. The chicken in the tori paitan was dry. The broth in all the ramens were very tasty. For appetizers we got the yaki mochi and pork gyoza. The gyoza were good, pretty standard. The mochi was extremely salty. I wish they would indicate on the menu how many pieces you receive with the appetizers. Mochi is hard to split apart with no knife when you have 2 pieces and 3 people.I'm not sure if i would come back here but overall solid experience. I very much enjoyed my ramen.

An amazing hidden gem in Deep Ellum, Ichigoh Ramen has a unique feel of both casual and fine dining. Any of the ramen and appetizers are amazing! Great choice of drinks as well! The service is amazing, be prepared for a slower service given that it seems to be more of a relaxed and limited staff. 5/5 my go to Ramen spot in Dallas

This is the best ramen - specifically paitan - spot in Dallas. The noodles are Al dente, the broth rich, meat tender and flavorful, ajitama consistent and perfect each time (does cost extra though). The apps are amazing also. Service friendly professional and swift. Perfect spot for a date night or casual catch up.They have GF noodles available however - if you have gluten allergy, would not risk it here. My friend felt ill after despite notifying the kitchen of her gluten allergy. They did not seem to understand that having a gluten allergy goes beyond switching out the noodles.. that said, my friend did say that that was one of the best GF ramen noodles she's had. We suspect that the tofu skin they offered may had soy but not 100% sure what got contaminated.

Ambiance is good for a date (romantically dark) it is in historic Deep Elllum. Service was great, very attentive and pleasant waitress. My family enjoyed their rice dish amd ramen soup. As for me it was my first time eating real ramen so I was unfamiliar with the names of the veggies listed next to the diff types of ramen. I got the vegetalian miso and was hoping for more vegetalians and not so much of bean sprouts. It was ok for me a first timer but I personally prefer rice noodles over wheat. The place has a high ratimg so ya'll real ramen lovers know.

Ichigoh Ramen Lounge is my #1 favorite ramen spot in DFW! Their yuzu broth is my personal favorite - it's so light and comforting. I typically don't like most ramens because the broth is usually very salty, but the yuzu broth is one of the only ones I can fully finish. Out of the ones I've tried, the yuzu shio tsukemen has the strongest yuzu flavor which I love. The yuzu paitan is a slightly creamy version of the yuzu shio.If you prefer something more rich, the ichigoh special spicy miso is a solid option. I've tried their spicy tare tsukemen but it was overly salty - would not get that one again. I've noticed the pork belly chashu here is different from other ramen shops - it's thicker and not as rich/fatty. I've tried two drinks, the matcha kyuri fizz and yuzu shiso julep. The matcha one was pretty strong and the yuzu was more refreshing. The appetizers here are also very solid. Their Nasu dengaku (eggplant with blueberry miso glaze) is delicious with the slightly sweet & salty combo. Their Tatsujin pork ribs are so flavorful and tender. I would happily order those two apps again. The avocado salad is good and has a tasty light dressing. The age mochi (fried mochi) is unique - it's a savory mochi with a crispy outside and soft pillowy chewy inside. You will probably have to pay for street parking in order to dine here. Service can be a bit slow so be prepared to wait a little while for your food, but it will be worth the wait! Overall, I highly recommend visiting Ichigoh ramen lounge!

Maybe it's just me but this ramen was so terrible and had onions/scallions anyways. The noodles were chewy and it just wasn't good. I was really disappointed. They also didn't refill any of our waters the whole time. Won't be back :(

Good Ramen in downtown Dallas. Would visit again and try other items on the menu. Wait time was not bad at all, only about 15'minutes to get our food. Interior was perfectly decorated to fit with the food.
