Extremely limited options for anyone who isn't a f#$&ing hockey player and doesn't want to have stupid little children constantly slamming into them during a public session. Pretty much NO options for anyone who fits the above description and is also stuck at work during regular business hours. They don't have public sessions in the evenings, so sucks to be you if you have to work on weekdays during the day. Rink is infested with kids on the weekends. The rest of the time, it's closed for competitions and hockey crap. Even on days when they're open, they close sporadically during the day because...reasons. And to be clear, there are zero public skating sessions on ANY evenings, so anyone who has a day job is SOL. If you have a weekday day job = your choices are child-infested weekend days or nothing. If you have a job or other obligations every day during the day but evenings free = HAHAHA WE HAVE NOTHING FOR YOU, GO AWAY. There are some late afternoon freestyle sessions, but they're a huge ripoff, you only get an hour on the ice, and I've gotten three different answers about what the qualifications are to even earn the honor of buying a session. (One person said I had to take a damn test, one person said I had to be currently taking lessons, and another said as long as I know the basic mechanics of the jumps, it's fine). I definitely am NOT about to risk wasting money by coming all the way out here with my skates just to get turned away if I'm not up to their magical standards, I'm not about to risk practicing rusty jumps and spins with swarms of feral children crashing into me during a public session, and I SURE AS HELL am not going to pay to take a test to see if I'm Worthy of paying them even more money for one lousy hour on the ice. This place is a pathetic, cruel joke. It should be ashamed of itself for existing in public and getting people's hopes up for a viable public rink. As if I needed one more piece of proof this mall jumped the shark years ago and this entire city is a barren wasteland with nothing to do.TL;DR - If you have to work weekdays during the day and/or you're not a hockey player, this "rink" has nothing to offer but disappointment.BONUS WTF: Definitely call before you come! Their public skating hours listed on Yelp, Google, the rink's website, and the physical sign outside the rink itself ALL HAVE DIFFERENT HOURS. And they appear to be variable on weekends, so you can't even reasonably plan.

This rink is super fun and nice to skate on! It's in the mall which makes for a fun day out. It DOES get very crowded on weekends, lots of small kids falling lol. They don't offer things to hold onto (no buckets, etc.) so be aware that the wall is the only thing to hold onto if you still need that support. There are also experienced skaters that skate really fast around the rink, which is also cool...but it was a little disconcerting for some beginners. They would skate super close to others and make sudden stops/turns that caused new skaters to fall. One of the experienced hockey guys actually fell and slid into a group of kids, knocking them over like bowling pins...which was unfortunate lol.I highly recommend checking their FaceBook page/calling them to confirm public ice hours, as these are subject to change at any point during the month. Do this before planning anything, especially if you want to invite some people to accompany you!! You only get to skate during one session for the price, so show up on time to maximize the fun!The staff is nice and will help you figure out rental sizing, as well as help you with tying the laces if you can't get them tight enough. They are attentive to safe skate sizing, and will sometimes spot/help anyone on the ice that isn't wearing skates properly. There are both hockey skate & figure skate rentals, you can choose which ones you want to skate on! They also have a shop that you can buy your own skates from, as well as additional skate supplies. All in all I've had a blast here and would recommend this rink to anyone looking to have some real fun! Definitely confirm hours the same day before going, and if it is on a weekend just know that it will probably be busy. Other than that, have lots of fun!!

Not even for the $10 Groupon was this worth it. The ice was in terrible shape and they let way too many people in at once. I'm pretty sure they control that through their constant "breaks" where they send out the Zamboni. People get tired of the bs and just leave. There was never any employees outside of the check in line either.

It's nice that there is an ice skating rink in the middle of the mall! Of course, it's not available all the time, but it works. It is $12 for an adult skater (admission and rental), $10 for a youth, and $3 for a child.

Great skates and good atmosphere. The one complaint I have is that people who don't know how to skate sat in the middle of the lane cutting me off and little kids would fall, sometimes purposely in front of me as I was hauling tail. Please, ice staff, give them something to hold on to besides the wall and get onto them about cutting people off

This place has a great atmosphere and lots of fun! We are regulars and love to bring our friends! The staff are always helpful and it's the best public skate deal in town. As long as you keep your wristband on, you can leave and come back to skate on the same session no problem! Public sessions are 10:30-5:00 most weekdays, so you can really take your time. My daughter took lessons at the skate school and learned all the basic levels fast. The 8-week classes were very affordable (less than the soccer and Karate she also wanted), and she got to skate for free the whole time! I started talking lessons and am now 25 lbs lighter and can compete doing jumps and spins! I'm in the best shape of my life at age 42, and it's helped me overcome decades of physical hardships. The coaching staff is world-class, and the skaters come from all backgrounds and ages.I love this place! You should seriously try ice skating here.

When we arrived I had one adult and one child. The employees charged me for two adults even though it was obvious that my child was under 13. (She's 11) I didn't realize it until I was leaving but when I did I told an employee. I told her manager about it and he was very rude. I would have let it go if he were nice but since he wasn't, I asked for my money back. He said it went through but he wouldn't give me my receipt. When I looked at my bank account I saw that he never gave me the money back! To add on to that, the ice was very rough. Especially for my child who was just learning to skate.

The instructors are very patient with children and knowledgable. The pricing is reasonable when taking courses since the course comes with free skating time to practice. It's my son's favorite activity.
