Hungry Jalapeño

Great place for a taco in Brock. Cool vibe with indoor TV's and outdoor play are for kids as well as plenty of seating. Service was excellent with great recommendations and suggestions for a newbie. I ordered the taco of the week - Coconut Shrimp Cowboy taco with mango salsa as well as another cowboy taco with brisket and candied jalapeños... both were delicious!

Food is really good and you get quit a bit for the price . Employees seem really nice and place is clean . Keep up the good work

I don't understand how the rating is great here when the food is HORRIBLE! It's only getting a one star for the drinks. Let me start off with their fajita fries, the fries were NOT thoroughly cooked in which is tasted frozen in the middle. Their shrimp tacos tasted like they just finished thawing with no seasoning, gross! The shredded chicken taco with a cold corn tortilla was even worst. I'm not sure what was in the chicken taco but it lead me to food poisoning! Do not trust a local who doesn't know "authentic" Mexican food.

I moved to Texas about 5 1/2 months ago and have eaten at several places. Most were okay, but the Hungry Jalapeno was outstanding. I had the Cussing Cowboy tacos and chips & Queso.I look forward to future visits to try other items on their menu.

The food was good but the prices! Not used to paying $12 bucks for 1 taco. Don't think I'll be back.

Since there are no places to eat in that part of town they do have the monopoly. The food is way overpriced and service "spotty". Kids run rampant (but they do hv an outside area for them) but it's a very safe environment. It's definitely a local hangout and comfortable. Plenty of parking and the bar is well stocked. The reason I don't have a 5 star review is the pricing.

I'm from the West Coast & as much as we love Texas & the culture here, we deeply miss authentic Mexican food! Hungry Jalapeño doesn't overdue the "Tex-mex," while still offering the staple brisket mixed in, so in our humble opinion- it's b o m b. I ordered 2 diff tacos & the rattle bites & it was all delicious! This is our favorite taco spot in all of Weatherford & Brock! Keep it up HJ!

Have been several times so far. Counter service is pretty quick and the food is really good. Margaritas are on point too. Only complaint is they don't have coca cola lolWait times are more normal now that the new open rush is done.

We live near Hungry Jalapeño and it is a local favorite and regular for us to attend. Great ownership, great staff...very friendly and the food is always good and consistent.
