I found Hot Spots Eat Fresh after looking around for spots nearby that searched for General Tso's chicken. This is one of my favorite dishes. This restaurant had high reviews, the food pics look good, so I said why not give it a try? I placed a pick up order online from their website and parked and went inside to get my food. I did notice they do have a drive through and curbside pick up. Inside was pretty spacious and it had a few people eating around lunch time on a weekday. My food was ready when I went to get it, which was awesome. General Tso's chicken was very delicious. The piece of chicken meat was fresh and tasty and good pieces, but the tough and chewy parts of the chicken. The flavor was good, not too sweet or spicy. However I wish they had broccoli included. The rice was steamed food and tastes as you would expect white rice from a Chinese restaurant to taste like, bland to mild flavor (It's white rice).I definitely would recommend this spot and you should try them out too. I know I'll be back!

The reviews got it right! I've been on the hunt for a good Chinese spot and this place did not disappoint. The pad Thai was good with a nice amount of spice and flavor. We ordered the pork fried rice. I would probably switch to chicken as I was not a fan of the pork bits but the rice itself was good. Lastly the sweet and sour chicken and the sauce was really good. I will definitely return again and suggest to others.

Great hidden gem! Opened up their dine in following Covid. The appetizers were very yummy. The food was super fresh. They have a drive thru as well. The manager/owner waited on us personally and was very responsive to any questions we had.

Let me start with saying we only get this food through Doordash. Have never been here in person. With that said, I love the food. Sushi is always fresh. Portion sizes always seem to be good. I should try it in peraon at some point.

The food was definitely not what we expected. The sweet and sour chicken was basically just small chicken strips with lots of fried rice and some sweet and sour sauce. No vegetables at all. The spring roll was awful, no taste and it was mushy. The meal was also over salted. It seems to me that the people that had good experiences here must have had a different cook than those of us that left dissatisfied. The lack of consistency is a good reason to skip this place. Would certainly not recommend and would not return there. We had better food at China Express than at this establishment.

We've been coming here for the last 3 years since moving to Denton. It's one of the best asian places we've been to as far as boba tea and Asian food goes. We ate inside a few months ago as they finally opened up inside dining, and it's so nice to finally sit down and eat. We never mind the long line waiting because we know it's worth it. Pretty great selection of food and beverage options. Prices and portions are also great for your buck.

Hidden gem! Although location and ambience is average, service and food is great! I tried ramen, dumplings soup, curry, appetizers, boba, and most of them are 4/5! I really like the dumpling soup and appetizers! They taste fresh! I like the entrees too because they tasted homemade not artificial. The drinks are a little pricey for using powder and fruit sweeteners. If they added real fruit, maybe frozen? that would up the taste and worth the cost. Otherwise price should be lowered since it just powder and ice.Service is great and food consistently good but if the employees all wear uniform, I think it will leave a great, more professional impression and attract more regular customers.

It looks like just drive through but if you pull into the back, you can oark and eat inside. We had the General Tsos and the Mushroom with pork. We also ordered the Chicken Karaage appetizer. The chicken was light and crispy. The Mushroom pork came with a ton of mushrooms and some snow peas and carrots that were cooked perfectly both with were both crisp and fresh. The General Tsos had a light batter and the sauce was very flavorful. The gentleman from the back asked if everything was ok as I still had a lot left on my plate. There was just so much food that even though I had eaten a third of it - it still looked like a lot. We definitely will be back.
