Hope Park

There is much to appreciate about this location. It is spacious, relatively well-maintained, and clean, providing ample room for children of various ages to enjoy. Restrooms are also available.While I would welcome some general updates to the park, my overall experience has been quite positive.

Let's start with the good, this place is an amazing concept. It's huge, and there's lots to do. It's not just a typical park with a traditional playground for kids. They have that and tons more to do, to distract kids from little toddlers to older children. Plus, they're very clear with designated areas for young children, and older children to play separately. 5 stars if you go there on a day where nobody is there.Now where there's opportunity: parking is hellacious. You could drive around for 15 minutes and not find a spot. There's not enough and it's a nightmare when you just want to hang out at a public park for 15-30 minutes. Which leads to the second problem, there are way too many people that come here at once. I guess that's not their fault but it creates a lot of chaos for parents trying to manage their little ones. then there's the bathrooms. There aren't enough of those either and they're far away from the playground. I would give it one star for logistics handling.Summary: In order to make it worth your while (arrive, park, walk in and play) plan on being here for at least a couple hours.

The park was okay but my son really enjoyed the splash pad. My son is 4 years old, he got bored with the park very quickly and a few of the slides were boarded off.

Huge playground with lots of things to keep your kiddo busy. We did see several things broken though like the various piano/bell areas. Also a lot of brats going the wrong direction on the slides and of course their parents doing nothing about it.There is an ice cream truck that goes seemingly during peak times with gouged prices. One bar that's like 5x the $$$ amount if we bought it at grocery store. If he's allowed to gouge like that, let's review policy with Frisco Parks and Recreation please and not allow this to happen.Restrooms are available which is nice.There was a weekend we went when they had a religious booth set up at the entrance of the park distributing flyers? In general, I do not want ANY booths there. Please address that moving forward. We don't need to force idealogies on our children.

Very fun just is super packed!! Even during the week days before 3 pm it can be super packed

We only explored the playground. I loved the age zones. It was nice to be able to easily keep an eye on my 3yr old toddler while tending to my 10 month old in the under 5 area. Plenty of swings, slides, and places to run around. My toddler went over to the 5+ area and that's where things got hinky. I lost track of him a couple times. And then completely. I walked around the entire structure looking high and low and could NOT spot him. I began to freak out. I called him a few times (he doesn't always answer, it's a skill we are still working on). After checking, I went back through the under 5 area and the butterfly playground - I was seriously freaking out. And then spotted him in the 5+ area finally. He was none the wiser. But...there are places for littles to inadvertently hide, so keep that in The bathrooms aren't far, but not close for a toddler either. So...we had an accident. Plenty of parking. Plenty of sitting/picnic areas inside the zones as well as a pavilion.

This is a massive playground!! So much to do for all ages. It's divided into sections for ages.

The best playground and park I've ever seen. My kid didn't want to leave. The play ground has aged sections for the kids and it's a unique non basic playground. A beautiful community garden, a lovely community center, a splash pad, lotsss of walking around space, super peaceful and beautiful!!

Nice place. My kid loves it. Plenty of things for a toddler to climb and mess with. It's great.
