what's not to like? Smallish, 3 screens, and additionally small viewing rooms. Seating, screens and sound are good. Snack bar is good.Staff competent and friendly. What's not to like? It's in Highland Park the epicenter of douchebaggery. Indeed, you will be rubbing elbows with entitled, groomed and neurotic douchebags.

An odd little theater in the middle of a very nice shopping district. I came here for a late showing on a Saturday night. I did not see a single employee the entire night. I bought tickets from a ticket kiosk downstairs, made my way up the escalator, directed myself towards the correct theater, viewed my movie, and left. Aside from a couple other movie-goers, I did not see another single soul. Not even at the concessions stand. My date jokingly asked, "Why did we even buy our tickets? There was nobody to check!"The theater itself was clean and cozy, with only 16 seats, arranged in pairs on either side of the aisle. We arrived right on time, and sat awkwardly for an extra 15 minutes in front of a blank screen. No previews or anything began until 15 minutes after the scheduled movie time. Again, a very odd experience. Not having seen any employees before, we wondered if there was even anyone to operate the theater. The movie did eventually start, and the experience was smooth sailing from there.I will say, the movie tickets and snacks were cheaper than other, absurdly priced movie theaters. (Judging from the snack listings. I didn't buy any snacks, because again. There was nobody around?) In the end, I wouldn't dissuade anyone from coming for a movie. It was just a strange movie experience.

This is truly a gem of a theater and the food and service is simply outstanding. I have been a client for over 15 years and truly this is my favorite movie theater to go to in the world! There are only three or four Theatres inside this wonderful movie theater and my favorite's are the smaller boutique-like size spaces with only 12 seating theater chairs inside. I also thoroughly enjoy the candy and the popcorn and the food.......Antonio V

Pretty high end theater. A little more pricey than other theaters, but it is surrounded by very nice designer stores (Heaven on Earth!) and the room I was in had 10 recliner seats and 4 barstools in the back. We also had a sink and counter. It was extremely nice and there aren't that many people so it's not as noisy as a regular city theater would be like. Definitely enjoying myself!

If you're looking for a cute little theater with character in the Highland Park area, then this is the perfect fit! The theater is smaller and the seats don't recline, but they were still cozy and comfortable during the film. It's the perfect place to come if you decide you want to see a movie at the last minute as it's not usually too packed.

The theater we were in was amazingly unique. It had 10 seats. Definitely never been in a theater that small. It was pretty cool and very comfortable. I could see preferring to be in a giant theater for some big holiday blockbuster movie but for us it was perfect. I could tell that the other theaters were bigger but I don't know by how much. Overall, it was a pretty cool place to see a movie.

The main theater screen is still very small. Fun for a date night but not a movie premiere.

Love that it is located in such a nice area. Comfortable seats and great atmosphere. Highland Park Village Theatre is the only place I will take friends/family to see movies. We always enjoy cocktails and watch a movie. Shopping in the village, before a movie, makes for a great day. I definitely recommend this theatre!
