This is a fabulous venue. I just celebrated my 70th birthday here and it was wonderful. We had about 80 guests and the layout of the house is perfect for mingling. The two fireplaces made it so warm and welcoming. Even though it was cold, we were able to enjoy the expansive outdoor area thanks to heaters available on sight. There is plenty of room for dining and dancing the night away. One could have the most beautiful wedding here. The owner Shelly has lovingly restored and furnished the venue and it can accommodate any type of party from large weddings to baby showers and everything in between. She is so helpful too; helping us find a wonderful caterer and a great bartender. The Hidden Gardens has an interesting past which Shelly will be happy to share with you. Please consider this beautiful venue for your next event or function. You will fall in love with the Hidden Gardens.

The photos don't do justice to this absolutely beautiful venue. You have to go there and see it in person to get a true perspective of the layout. It's the perfect place to entertain your guests for any occasion you can think of. While I was there my mind was just spinning about all the different kinds of parties I'd like to have there. It's just the right size, not so big that you lose track of your guests and yet roomy enough between the indoor and outdoor space that you won't feel crowded and are stepping over each other to get around. There's an upstairs room on one side set up for the bride and her attendants to dress and do makeup with several antique vanities throughout the room and a very large gentlemen's room across the hall that reminded me of the old days where the men would retire for cigars and whiskey (although smoking these days is prohibited I'm sure). There's also a large separate restroom upstairs so you don't have to go downstairs. There's a beautiful old fashioned wooden bar downstairs on the right beyond the spacious entry parlor if you'd like to hire a bartender with yet another large room to the left of the parlor that's set up with tables for indoor dining. Every room is resplendent with beautiful antique furniture, fireplaces and accessories. It felt like I had stepped back in time. There's also a magnificent covered patio out back and to the side and a huge open patio below that for dancing after you have the wedding service. Outdoor lighting is everywhere for evening hours and beautiful gardens throughout as well if you like to take photos. It's perfect for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions or corporate functions. A hidden gem close to downtown Fort Worth and a must see to appreciate.

The Wedding was beautiful- The problem was the bartender- facetiming while working- slow and rude-Then closed the bar by saying a few guests were overserved {by him}Denying the Bride and Groom a drink after the wedding- when they purchased all the alcohol- The Wedding director stating "He's NOT my bartender- Well yes he is- the Venue hired him. {We were not allowed to hire our own bartender) Very disappointed in the way many of the guests including the Bride and Groom were treated by this Venue.

Beautiful venue, historic and charming. We were invited for a birthday tea party and we were delightfully surprised. We would definitely book an event here.
