Hey Sugar Candy Store

The only chocolate shop I will spend $40 for treats! They have delicious flavors and kind employees. Today was no different, a great place every time we visit. Still our favorite!

Hey Sugar has a balanced mixture of older and newer types of candies, it's truly a candy haven. The employees were helpful and kind throughout my time at the store. I tried their icecream which is made in house and selected the espresso martini and toffee. They were delicious and refreshing on a hot spring day. They weren't too sweet which I appreciated. I picked up some truffles, dark sea salt caramel and dark chocolate raspberry, the truffles were yummy but pricey. I selected a couple types of gummy bears, sour apple, watermelon and blue raspberry. All three flavors were yummy and I munched on them throughout the week. They have a covered gazebo and open patio as well as an open area in the front to sit. They have stationery rides for kiddos to ride on in the front. I love checking out downtown roanoake and look forward to returning.

Very cute candy store with fun candies you buy by the pound. We purchased some chocolate balls that were awesome as well as the dark chocolate covered graham cracker.

We absolutely love this ice cream shop. Always pleasant service and it is so enjoyable to go hang out there they have several areas for seating and enjoying your ice cream.

Great little ice cream and candy store. They do not have my h for hard candy. But have an excellent selection of gummies and jelly beans.Friend said it was some of the best ice cream he's ever had. Chocolates in the case are good too. Worth the trip. Fun little town.

This is an absolutely darling candy store in Roanoke! This store is in a central location - perfect for picking out dessert after dining at one of the many restaurants on Oak Street. It has so much nostalgia in one place! Hey Sugar sells lots of candy, old fashioned soda, ice cream, and other guilty pleasures. We opted for vintage candy on this visit, but we will definitely be back for ice cream and/or cake balls in the future.

This place is awesome! Just a cute little candy shop on Main Street! They have all kinds of random candy! Fun different types of sodas, home made chocolates and even ice cream!I love that they have a dairy free option of ice cream, too! It is usually run by teenagers who just don't care, but it's still a fun vibe! Worth a stop!

Awesome little shop. Good ice cream and tons of options. The kids loved it and so did we.

Look I get having friends but it's not right to give both of them free ice cream in front of other customers and proceed right after to make us pay for our ice cream. Make everyone pay regardless.

Wow! Our entire family loves Hey Sugar! They have the most variety of candies, vintage sodas, and chocolates. I absolutely enjoy as many truffles as I can when we stop by.Highly recommend for any occasion.
