Herd’s Hamburgers

Fantastic good ole' burger!! REALLY good...the only thing I would say it was missing, were fries or onion rings on the side. Burger is fantastic though, TAKE CASH!

Real Old fashioned burgers with perfect grill flavor and made perfect to your liking. Tiny little joint with character and home town roots. Highly recommend the Double Double!! The staff is knowledgeable and quick with the orders! A few spots to eat outside, but it's more nostalgic to sit inside with the benches. Will be back soon!

Still a solid place to stop and get a burger. We got two cheeseburgers with chips and a drink. Sat outside and talked some nice people that were also passing through. Solid diner style burger without any pretentiousness....if you're passing through, I always recommend this place.

This place was started in 1916, and allegedly uses either the original flattop from that time or one from the 1940s. Either way, the decades of seasoning make that flattop the perfect foundation for an unbeatable flavor. If you are ever traveling through the Jacksboro area, make some room in your tummy and your day for a visit.

Good quality burger. No frills. Chips and drinks available, but don't expect a smorgasbord of additional selections. This is just fine because the burgers are the main attraction. Worth a stop as you travel through town.

Best burgers in Texas hands-down! Very friendly staff. nice environment strongly recommend. Any time I'm in Jacksboro we go to Herd's Hamburger's.

Best Cheeseburgers I've had! No french fries, but the burger makes up for it.Will definitely be coming back!

No frills, sodas from the cooler, chips from the rack (no fries). Cash. Great burger! Fresh-they focus on what's important. Business is more than 100 years old. Graffiti filled interior with historical photos and documents

Traveling through Jacksboro and had seen the many positive reviews so we stopped. Walked in the door and I'm assuming who was the owner looked at us and said we were banned! This is the first time we've been this way and when I told him that, he said " f*ck you get out"and that caused my 5 year old to start crying from being yelled at. I don't understand how this place has all these 5 stars, are all of the people in Jacksboro this way?
