Hawks Creek Golf Club

I think this a very good golf course and offers a good golf experience. The staff is helpful and professional in their approach to help you get onto the course and book tee times.The clubhouse is very interesting and I have not found out the backstory with it yet. No outside service when I played due to Covid-19. However, I felt safe the entire round. Walking is not a problem and my threesome made it around in 4 hours and twenty minutes and it was fairly busy.Tees, fairways and greens are all solid and in excellent condition. Nice work by the superintendent and his or her crew. Fun layout and a fair test all the way around. I would like to play it again soon.Pro tip *hybrid or fairway off number one tee

Course is in OK shape. Not too crowded for a day in March during the week. Could be a little cheaper maybe considered a little overpriced for the condition of the course.

I spoke to Greg on the phone, he was very rude. Nice golf course, bad Greg. There was no need. These are trying times Greg, everyone is doing the best they can.

Fabulous time!! A very fun course with a military air show included in the bargain GolfNow price!! It was a beautiful day and all the staff and fellow golfers were friendly and fun! I will be back! 19th hope very reasonably priced and lots of choices.

Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by what could possibly be one of the most unique clubhouses you'll find just about anywhere. Beyond that, a challenging layout awaits for you to feed your golf balls to. And on top of that, the neighboring military base gives quite an air show on the weekends making this course a must see for your visit to the Fort Worth area. The golf boards look like fun too. There's only a handful of course in the area that have golf boards, and out of those handful there's only 2-3 that are public. This place provides both a unique and enjoyable round, especially if you're a big military fan like myself. Love, love, love watching those F-18's taking off and landing. Don't rely on someone else's vacation photo montage to guide your decisions on where to play your next round of golf. The course is beautiful and in good condition. There are no options for 9 holes and due to overcrowding and no regulation for slow play; it is an issue to play 18 holes. Had a 3:30 PM tee time; two groups in front and the lead group proceeded to take multiple tee shots on each hole. The group behind them was only slightly better. By the time we were able to tee off it was closer to 4:15PM. The group behind us gave up and left after the 7th hole. Due to the extreme slow play of the preceding groups, we only finished 13 holes due to a 7:00 PM cart return. Under normal playing time this would have been more than adequate to play 18 holes. The pro shop closed prior to the cart return time so there was no option to discuss the time issues. While no one wants to feel rushed while playing golf, this pace of play (or lack thereof) is unacceptable.

Ive been going here for over a year and the staff is a joke. Both of the older gentleman working behind the counter wake up on the wrong side of the bed everyday. Just absolutely rude. They must be understaffed as they lock up the club house everytime they leave and then you have to wait outside (Ive waited over 15 min.) and when they come back, they act surprised to see you there and are never willing to help.

Tried to book a tee time for a single, this is the response I got. "we don't book tee times for singles, you'll just have to come out and take a chance." I was just visiting the area, so obviously I can't pull someone off the street and play golf with them; such a senseless rule.

I love this course. everything is in prime shape for the winter. Goated ham sandwich's. But the greens are rolling as hard as the cart path. you can't get up and down from anywhere. The slopes on the green are way to insane for the greens to be that fast. it just made everyone's round 10x harder when the putts are impossible. Other than that 10/10 cheap price for a great course.

This course and staff deeply represents the greatness of Ft Worth. Phenomenal layout, everything well kept, wonder staff and always enjoy the experience! Thanks Hawks Creek!
