I'm glad I gave this place a try. It's tucked in a shopping center of Camp Bowie, but the inside feels more intimate than a strip center. They have cute decorations and good lighting. It's a fast casual style restaurant where you order at the counter, serve your own drink, and then the food is delivered to your table. To be honest, I'm surprised they have a tip screen when they don't even bring the silverware with your food and just direct you as if you were at a Pei Wei.All of that aside, the food was good. We got the cowboy roll and hashi roll as well as Hibachi and were not disappointed. The hibachi servings are very large and made with fresh veggies which I appreciate.

After reading some reviews, my husband ordered me Miso soup, Shrimp Tempura, Tuna roll and Cowboy roll. The miso soup tasted just like the ones from the packet. Looks great, but disappointing. The Shrimp tempura had a great crunch, but zero flavor. The dipping sauce for the was sweet for some reason. The cowboy roll was actually decent and the only think I was able to eat it without having to douse it in sauce. The tuna roll however, was the saddest thing in the order. The fish was warm, smellled terribly and even with soy sauce I couldn't eat more than one. I'm hoping that I don't end up getting sick from this. Id recommend to avoid this place at all cost.

Felt like a more authentic Japanese restaurant. You order at the register, and the menu is on the wall, which I think is common in Japan. The restaurant itself was really clean, and the service was great! I really enjoyed their Hibachi steak, miso soup, and gyoza. I believe they had a hibachi grill table, but we didn't sit there. Maybe next time!

The sign caught my eye as I was driving by and hungry. I ordered steak teriyaki, shrimp teriyaki and crab Rangoon. It took about 25 minutes for my order to be ready and when I got home, the food was still warm.The crab rangoon was fine, nothing special and it turned out to be the best of the food. The shrimp was overcooked and one nearly burnt. It also was severely lacking flavor, so very little teriyaki. My go to bag did have sauces in it and they made the food edible, but still meh.Given that this meal was $37 and the lack of flavor, I will not go back nor recommend to other people.

Fast attentive service, spic and span cleanliness, pleasant decor, great parking, great variety and wonderful food. Japanese doesn't get any better than this. And get the shrimp tempura which are about 4 inches long without a speck of grease, crispy and delicious. I ordered California rolls, they made them while I waited and served them at the table just after cutting them. Miso soup is perfect and so is the home-brewed tea. I love this place and I think you will too!
