I've been told by multiple people to try this place - supposedly the best bbq in the area. Maybe my expectations were high, but this was one of the worst bbq's I've tried since moving to TX. I let it go when the amounts of my order was completely wrong (even though the person wrote down my order - 1/2 lb each ribs, brisket, coleslaw, and beans, 1 lb potato salad) - the amounts were provided in reverse, so when my order came out to over $80 I was shocked!They were nice enough to fix everything, but I ended up getting less than 1/2 lb of each item...still cost around $40 :(. The worst of it was how ridiculously greasy the brisket and ribs were - we literally held up a rib bone and slices of brisket and saw grease dripping off both (and not just a drop or two). There was a pool of grease in both containers of meat. It made for a very unappetizing experience - ended up throwing it away. The sides were okay...decently flavored. Based on our experience, we're going to keep looking for a decent bbq spot. This place isn't for us.

I visited yesterday for the first time, and I plan to visit again. I know good food because I'm from the east coast, and this carry-out delivers. A little costly, but I understand the price given the state of the economy. To match the price range, I believe they could provide an additional scoop of sides. In addition to the food, the venue is clean, the personnel is friendly, and the atmosphere is secure. I ordered macaroni and cheese, potato salad, and ribs. Everything else was wonderful except for the Mac didn't delivery for me.

Hands down, this is one of the best barbecue spots I've visited. The links, pulled pork, all delicious. The ribs and brisket, I'm not a fan of when it comes to other places, but Hall's knows how to make it all work. If you're in the mood for some great bbq, this is definitely worth the stop!

This is a great go-to location for beer and liquor. I mostly buy local craft beer and I can count on them having the latest releases. Within a minute of walking in I've usually been approached to ask if they can help me find something. They really mean it and will search the computer or walk the fridge to best help. The big surprise is the food! They have really great bbq in the store. It's a large menu and I've enjoyed what I've bought. I mean where else can you buy gas, craft beer, and bbq in one stop?!

This review is purely for the bbq restaurant inside the gas station/beer/wine/liquor store. Don't get me wrong, I will easily give this place as a whole 5 stars, but today I'm here for the bbq.To start the people behind the counter are super friendly. You walk in, look at the chalk board and they ask you in a nice way what would you like to order. Since I'm on a brisket kick I went with brisket on a hamburger bun with onions, pickles and sauce. Not sure if it was the sauce, bread or brisket, but it was heavenly. It was an absolute orchestra of deliciousness in my mouth. I highly recommend it, as a go-to for this bbq joint.This is the type of place where anything you order is going to be great. Next time you need gas, beer or booze and you have a rumble in your tummy, be sure to pick up some delicious Bbq to go!

Charley Hall and his team are top notch folks who are very welcoming and helpful. Charley has gone out of his way to find me various whiskeys. Hard to find true good service these days, these guys nail it!!
