Went out to celebrate a friends birthday , The food and atmosphere was incredible, what really made this an experience was our waiter Christian who went above and beyond expectations, not only being very attentive and enthusiastic, but also delivering a captivating noodle dance, making us his very own recipe from the sauce bar, and making a balloon puppy for our baby to play with.

I love this place!!!! The staff are incredibly good, shout out to John. They explain the process if you are new, and they run a lot of specials to make it feel worth the price, and if it's still to pricy, then consider taking some soup to go from your meal and getting a full meal for later. The decor and theme is Chinese through and through, and feels like an escape from typical American restaurants.Go with friends!

We went to take advantage of their $18.99 unlimited pork, beef, and lamb deal in February. While the deal was great if you only plan to get meat, to truly experience the full hotpot experience, you need to get various accoutrements like tofu, fish ball, veggies and noodles which added up pretty quick. Everything was very high quality from the meat to the broth to the veggies. The server was also very attentive in bringing more meat whenever we finished cooking the last batch. Most all you can eat places with a time limit aren't good about this since it costs them more money. One surprising thing that caught us off guard is they charge per bowl of sauce from the sauce bar, and it's not insignificant either. With no posted signage near the sauce bar that indicates it costs money, it felt a bit disingenuous.

I been wanting to try Haidilao since they first opened and finally decided to go today for my birthday. I was surprised at how packed they were on a Friday at 1 but we were seated right away.Since it was our first time here, the menu was a bit overwhelming and intimidating. Since it was a weekday, they had 2 different lunch combos (a basic one and a premium one with more sides). The host said the kids would get complimentary kid meals so we got 1 of each combo. Although food was good, I feel like we didn't get the best service since we were seated next to a large party that was also celebrating a birthday. Our kid meals didn't come out with our combos so we were a bit confused if we were supposed to place the order on the iPad. Luckily, they did bring the kids a free toy so that kept them happy and occupied while they waited for their plate. Our server also never brought out our drink with our combo which we didn't notice until we left. I also wished they told us they automatically charged for the sauce bar so we would've utilized it. Overall, food was good. 5 stars for the complimentary kids meal and toy because kid friendly is a huge plus. Not the best first experience but maybe will have to give them another try since everyone that's been told me they had a totally different experience.

Super fun place to eat at! When this place is busy, everyone is scrambling which may look a bit hectic, but everything is well controlled with fast service. The broth was very good with all the fixings you want in it. Lots of tables to seat a lot of people in the restaurant, so the wait shouldn't be long if you're coming with a big party. There are a lot of secret sayings to get special things in the restaurant. Go check out tiktok or youtube for those secrets!

A TX hot pot spot?! Yasssss! Very popular spot for sure but enjoyed the vibes and the food itself. Our waitness was great and definitely on top of everything to make sure we were happy with everything coming out! They didn't have one of my beers available and was super apologizing over it that she offered their haidilao branded beers 2 for 1 deal so I can try both, which was really nice!Food wise, everything was tasty and came out fast for us to start our hot pot, but man that spicy base, it creeps up, I love my spicy foods but wow, towards the tail end it got a little crazy hahah and this was the second to extreme level hot haha! We had an array of seafood, meats and veggies to mix up of choices. Reasons on why I love hot pot, you can get an array of things to mix with soup bases to get the flavor of that base and have a party in your mouth! Would come back whenever I'm in the Frisco/Dallas area!!

Having lived in Southern California, I've been to haidilao so many times i lost count and i'm actually glad they have one in DFW. hot pot places are a dime a dozen, but what sets haidilao apart is the customer service. they're very attentive and they're do little things to make sure your entire dining experience is well taken care of.We ended up going before 5pm, which i believe was to try to capitalize on the special combo pricing of roughly 26 bucks a person for 1 small hot pot soup base along with veggies and meats. We definitely ordered more food to drop into the hot pot. the meat came with both thinly sliced beef and lamb. we ordered more items, and my favorite was duck blood, shrimp paste wrapped with bamboo fungus skin (it sound weird, but the fungus skin absorbs all the soup flavor) and lotus roots. We also got bread with condense milk (not sure what its called in english, but its xiaomantou)... definitely get this, its so tasty. (see photo)if you've never been, i would recommend getting the tomato soup base. since we got two combos, we got one tomato soup and one black pepper pork & chicken. They also have a self service sauce bar with small items to snack on along with a dessert bar. the dessert section is a nice way to end your meal.

We just experienced the best Haidilao experience last night, all thanks to Shawn :-) You can tell that their #1 priority is hospitality. Food:This time around, I was really impressed with the menu! We opted for the Tomato and Mushroom soup bases, which provided a perfect balance-tomato's acidity complemented the earthy notes of the mushroom. The Wagyu Chuck Roll was buttery and rich, definitely the star of the meal. The assorted vegetable combo was delightful, allowing us to discover our favorites. We also ordered vermicelli noodles, which are always a bit tricky but still satisfying. The New York Steak Slice was decent, but next time, we'll stick with the Wagyu for sure. Watermelon juice was refreshing, especially once we added ice, thanks to Shawn's quick assistance.Service:Our server, Shawn, made all the difference. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about our experience. From giving us a wet naps, hair ties, and aprons right away. Fulfilled our questions by recommending his way to craft the perfect hotpot sauce, Shawn went above and beyond. His humor and warmth as well as his aura made our visit enjoyable, and he truly represented what excellent service should be. We'll definitely ask for him on our next visit!Ambiance:The atmosphere at Haidilao was casual yet cozy, creating a welcoming vibe perfect for enjoying a meal with friends. The staff, including the managers, were friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed. It felt like a community-focused space, especially since we arrived before the dinner rush, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience.Overall, this visit exceeded my expectations and has renewed my love for Haidilao. Shawn's exceptional service and the delicious food have made me eager to return!

We were craving HAIDILAO after going to the one in Singapore and the Frisco location did not disappoint!Ingredient quality is great, we love both the soup bases we chose for our half and half pot (spiciest one & the pork bone broth one), and service was really good! We ordered quite a lot of different meats. The ribeye, duck breast, fish, shrimp, and pork belly. All were delicious. The veggie platter was pretty big, we ordered two but probably only needed one. Love that you can make your own dipping sauces too. I ordered the lemon tea which I've had before and love, hubby ordered the orange juice soda which was interesting but good and refreshing. It wasn't too busy on a Thursday night so we didn't have to wait for a table and it didn't feel crowded. The prices can add up but we felt like it's worth the quality of what you get and the portions are good sized for the price. Will be back especially come winter!!! Nothing like a good hot pot when it's cold out!
