H&J Burgers serves up some of the best fresh burgers I've ever had in Fort Worth! These guys know what they're doing. The fries are A1, and I love piling on all the toppings. Everything is made fresh to order, and you can taste the difference.It's a family-owned spot, and they really take pride in their food. The burger patties are juicy and flavorful, and they don't skimp on quality. I want to start off by saying the food was absolutely amazing!!! Catfish burger and fries all sooooo good! However the service is some of the worse I've ever experienced. The girl working the counter who claims to be the owners daughter needs to be trained on service. When ordering I looked at what I wanted and the prices on the menu and when she gave me the total it was double what I expected so I questioned why to figure things out and I got a big time attitude. Sad thing is I was so nice about it. I ordered a catfish basket which came with fries and a burger. According to the poster prices $8.99 + $4.99 the total was double. Come to find out they charge extra for cheese no big deal but $1.65 extra lol. She also said their prices had increased due to inflation and there was a sign posted about it that the prices on the menu weren't accurate. I explained to her I understood prices can increase and don't mind paying extra but the sign is very hard to see it's behind very heavy tinted windows and I typically just read menus not random signs posted in the windows. Still no big deal and she had Rang me up for a full burger meal which I didn't ask for and told me it was my fault. I paid (cash only btw) and waited forever. When I finally got my meal she gave me 4 packets of ketchup and when I asked for extra she told me she'd only be able to give me 3 more otherwise she'd have to charge me. I was like really for ketchup? I took it and asked if the number was for the owner and she said "I am the owner and slammed the window". I went back outside (outside seating only) and was enjoying my food when I heard a woman screaming which I ignored cus I had already received my food. The other guest waiting thought it was for their food so they went to the window and she told them no she didn't want them to send me to the window. I went against my better judgment and she told me I could call the number it's her mom's. I politely said okay walked away finished my food and left. I did try to call 2 different numbers posted outside along with the one online and they all said disconnected. I assure there is no exaggeration here it's so sad to me to have this experience because like I said the food was really good.

Their burgers are still worth the drive. The rings set it off.Hope you're being mindful this is not a dress rehearsal, but a one life, one take affair. Get up, move around. I've been trying to eat at this establishment for quite a while now. The last two times that I drove here they closed down early for some reason. Today I made it here and they were open for business. You can call ahead or order in the drive-through and wait in your car or in the patio area. I decided to wait in my car.The young lady at the drive-through window was very kind and very helpful and very sweet. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger meal with fries and a lemonade. I wanted strawberry cake but they didn't have any available so no dessert.I was really hungry at the moment in this meal hit the spot. I have to say the lemonade with some of the best I've had in town for sure.

Yelp suggested this place a few weeks ago and when I saw the Kool Aid and Strawberry Cake on the menu plus burgers, I knew I just had to try it. You can either walk up to the window or order through the drive thru. There is plenty of outdoor seating and they even provide hand washing stations. It is cash only, but thankfully the also accept Cash App. Unfortunately, they did not have Kool aid or cake, but we were already there and I love me a burger. Based on reviews, I thought a double would be too big, so I ordered a single cheeseburger. It was delicious, fresh, and made to order. I definitely could have eaten a double though, but maybe it's because I'm picky and only had cheese and lettuce on it. Thankfully, it came with plenty of hot and well seasoned crinkly fries. My husband ordered a shrimp and fish basket and it was loaded with food. I was able to try some of the onion rings and they were perfect. The food was great and the outdoor seating was nice. I could see us returning when the weather is nicer and hopefully we can try some cake when we do!

Oh man where do I start. First the customer service is over the top. We ordered a few plates. The hamburger tasted like my momma made it. Oh and the catfish I can't stop thinking about it. The koolaid was good. Next time I am going to try the wings.

OMG! I ordered the shrimp basket with fried okra. Perfection. Great battering , crispy and delicious! Try it, you'll love it!

Wow! Stopped in during lunch to grab a burger, and it was so good! Was glad I had cash on hand for payment. Definitely going back!!I'd add a photo of my burger, but I ate it so quickly, sorry not sorry.

The place has really good food! But the young lady that services the drive thru is a nightmare! I hate seeing her at the window. She is very rude, and nasty! I was fortunate to meet the owner at a party who was very pleasant, humble and kind. Which is is why I still support this place. Had I not met him I would not spend my money here. I wish the culture would really do better with creating one another with kindness where and when we spend our money

Chrissy served me the best burger and seasoned fries I have ever had. Ordered the double meat with crinkle fries. The food was so good I didn't use any condiments besides ketchup and mustard on the burger. Great attitude and fast service. I'll be back!
