Grumps Burgers - Glen Rose

Fast, friendly service and BIG patties on a delicious burger make this place a must! Cold beer in a frozen mug is a perfect match for Dirty Fries (you've GOT to try those!) and staff is quick to check on needs.

I wasn't excited about grumps going in but I changed my mind really quick after trying it out. The burgers are good (great if you upgrade to a jalapeño bun!!), the fries are great and the ranch is AMAZING. The frozen margs are awesome, the only flavor they offer is sangria though, I really wish they would add another flavor or two just to mix it up. The wait is generally very long for food, 30 minutes after ordering is the shortest we have experienced, upwards of an hour on other occasions. So if you don't mind waiting this is a great spot, I believe you can also call ahead and get an order started if you are starving!

So happy these folks are finally open! Great food, cool patio, friendly service (Alexy took great care of us), and ice cream!

We are in Glen Rose camping for the weekend. A party of 10 stopped in for lunch! Bacon cheese burger on a jalapeño bun with grilled onions is the BOMB!!!! Home made chips!!! Loaded fries and I do not know what they do to the ranch but it is amazing!!!!! The service is excellent, everyone was so friends and the lady who took our order was fabulous!

Horrible service. Constantly heard cussing between staff members. Used table cleaner to clean the milkshake machine right before making the milkshake. Took over 30 minutes just to get a milkshake that didn't even taste good. Probably because of the cleaner. Location is small. Parking lot is horrible. But hey, at least the burgers weren't bad.

Grumps is great. All of our burgers were really good. Service was great. Our server, Ashley, made sure we had everything we needed, including the kind lady who took our order. The ambiance was cool too, like an old school burger joint. Their jalapeño ketchup was pretty good as well. Highly recommend! I would include a photo of my burger but I ate it before I took a photo!

Really great burgers and the fried jalapeños are great! Peanuts everywhere are great!

I'm not a person that goes out to eat very often but today I ordered a kids meal with cooked onions and pepper jack cheese, with the side of fries!!!! And it was absolutely amazing!!! The girl on the phone when she took my order was very helpful. Helped me decide what was best for me..... I picked it up and enjoyed every bite of it!!!!!!!

Good burgers! The kitchen was quite slow. I didn't understand this as the other Grumps Burgers had timely service. I would still recommend eating there. Hopefully they will get their slow food preparation issues solved.
