Yummy! Price is a little steep, but the burgers are big and filling. You have to try the fried pickle burger. Their breading is delicious. We were visiting the area, but if we find ourselves back, I wouldn't mind stopping by again.

We were in Glen Rose for the Art & Wine Festival and were very disappointed in our visit to Green Pickle. We didn't have a wait to be seated but it took an hour and a half for us to get our food! Ridiculous!!! On top of that my BFs burger was well well done, onion rings obviously frozen and my chicken melt was okay, but HEAVY on onions, and my fries were so overcooked they were chewy. Prices aren't cheap to boot so we left very disappointed. Wont be stopping by here on future trips to GR.

Approximately 1 year since our 1st visit, and nothing has changed, because it doesn't need to. Still the best burgers in Somervell County and same friendly service! 1/2 pound burgers freshly made to order. The fried pickles are legit, also!

Love this place!!! Finding veggie options in a small Texas town is not always easy - but The Green Pickle delivers!! The portobello burger accompanied by home cut fries was amazing. My husband loved his burger with blue cheese dripping down the side and the fried chicken sandwiches at the neighboring table looked thick and crisp. Don't miss this sweet gem in Glen Rose!

Fun family friendly burger place. The homey country atmosphere is repeated in the menu offering. We had homemade fried pickles, hamburgers, nuggets, and grilled cheese with fries. Yummy! Note: This place is BYOB.

Good burgers but really expensive. Older building so it was hot on a Saturday at lunch. Would've liked a cold beer with my burger but that's not available.

We were there earlier today (Monday) just before the spring break rush crowds hit and had another wonderful experience out in the dog friendly courtyard. Perfect weather and food and service were top notch. Thank you Avery for the great service and hospitality! ,Meet in the middle at The Green Pickle; Where Dallas folks meet up with Brownwood folks!

We decided to stop in here to eat lunch one day after visiting the state park nearby. It was pretty good food. Nothing too special. The one thing I noticed was the price of the burgers along with everything else. The drinks were over $3 and every burger from what I remember was over $12. We had a group of 5 adults and 2 toddlers. When time came to pay the bill we were charged an additional $30 large group fee. Which surprised all of us as I always knew it to be groups 8 or up. And you were always given a heads up as it's part of the tip. In total, our group bill came out to $200. That was for 4 burgers, a BLT, 2 corn dog meals for the kids, 3 appetizer baskets, and sodas for all of us. We were shocked at the price. If I'm going to spend that much money, I'll go to a steakhouse. It was a quick place to grab some grub and did the job. Filled our bellies. Odds are I won't come back.
