Went to opening night of Meet me in St. Louis and loved it!This is one of me and my fiance's favorite musicals so we bought tickets immediately when we heard it was coming to the community theater! We were able to pick up our tickets at will call inside relatively quickly upon entering. The staff greeted us and were very friendly and informative. We were given our programs and made aware that it can be a bit chilly inside the theater but that there were blankets available for use set up just outside where you would enter. There is a small snack bar in the lobby area. I believe you can take drinks in but not the food (can't remember 100%) there was a 15 minute intermission in between acts to be able to go to the restroom or grab a quick snack/drink. The actors were great, each very into their part. For it being open night there was only one line flub that I noticed BUT we have watched the movie about a million times so I'm sure anyone who hadn't did even catch it. Very happy with the entire production! I'm was nervous when picking seats because I couldn't find any information on if the seats were all the same level or not. For those wondering themselves, they were not it was raised like stadium seating. The theater itself is pretty small so seats go right up to the stage. The floor at the very front is reserved as a handicap area. At the end if the show we were all invited by the staff to stay for wine and cake to celebrate opening night with the cast. I highly recommend coming to see a show here if you have a chance, totally worth it for the price! ( My fiance proposed outside just after the show that night ^_^ )

Went here to see the musical "Memphis." It is a small, community theater that does well with the small stage, auditorium, and local actors. This is the third time I've been there. The quality of the singing and acting was decent, the sets and set changes necessarily limited, and the accompanying live music very good. (I didn't like the fact that the musicians aren't given credits in the playbill.) They have a small lobby with some seating and a small snack bar. You can take drinks into the theater, but not food. The chairs are a bit narrow, but comfortable. There is ample free parking in back. Ticket prices are very reasonable.

We went to see Beauty and the Beast. Great local theater and the band was live! The entrance is in the back. They do have a few snacks and drinks. Drinks including wine were free. Snacks were $1 a piece. Mostly candy. It's stadium seating and a very small theater so all the seats are great.

This is a GREAT find if you enjoy community theaters, in a quaint location and walking distance to a few tasty locally owned restaurants for a bite before or after. I had the pleasure of seeing Boeing Boeing and it wasn't only good, but better than expected! The venue is intimate, making any seat a great seat. Sound carried well, no trouble hearing the performers. And the cast - awesome! Each had great comedic timing, perfect amount of animation and shared believable chemistry. Enjoyed their performance of Boeing Boeing thoroughly and wouldn't change a thing! You can purchase singular shows or purchase a season. It's a cash only venue, so you'll need to call ahead to make reservations and then pay for tickets at the box office. Also note the entrance is actually at the back, along with ample parking (the front door on street is locked). And you can purchase water, soda, wine and snacks for a cash donation. Thank you GLCT for putting together a great show!

I just came from GLCT, where I took my Dad to see the matinee of "A Gentlemen's Guide to Love and Murder". I'm visiting from California and have been lucky enough to see scores of Broadway plays. This show and performances were fantastic. Michael Gehrig's debut at a community theater was truly extraordinary. Emily Emmet and Tess Moore both have amazingly beautiful voices. We enjoyed all the cast's performances.Kristal Seid, blew me away with her performances of nine separate characters. Her talent is exceptional and outstanding. Honestly, I've never seen anyone else do what she did. Her subtle changes in body language and voice were brilliant. You must see this play at this small and special theater. You'll love it.

I love community theater! That being said, my husband and I were excited to attend the final performance of Godspell. We were very disappointed and disgusted. The performance was not of Godspell, but a woke and political interpretation of Godspell and should have been advertised as such. The director used a Bible-based play to make a political statement that not everyone agrees with and, had we known this performance was not of the original play, we would not have wasted our time or money. ALSO, 3 of the 8 performers consider themselves nonbinary! That is they consider themselves to be neither male nor female, which totally goes against God's word in the Bible. How can they in good conscience portray characters that support and follow Jesus, yet do not accept themselves the way God made them?! This whole production was disgusting and I hope that in the future GLTC will differentiate between a play that is being followed as written and a play that is being interpreted to make a statement so that attendees are allowed to make a choice.
