Good Karma Cigar Fort Worth

Macanudo vintage maduro 1997 ChurchillProbably my second or third cigar I've had. Came to this shop as a first timer. Didn't feel intimidated at all. Got warm welcome immediately from the experts. Walk me through what to expect when purchasing a cigar. Side note is that you know you are at the right place when other customers help you also in selecting a cigar. Would return again to this place. Also great on no trying to out sale you on price. Bought two cigars at a good price.

Maybe it was the mood I was in, but I was quickly reminded why I don't come here. Great selection; however, this place could easily expand the sizings offered. (Not many double toros that I could discern.) In addition, there were a couple of brands they didn't carry that I personally believe every tobacconist should automatically offer in-store: H. Upmann Anejo, Romeo by Romeo y Julietta, and Monte Cristo Platinum to name a few. The staff member on duty seemed a little off-kilter, but who isn't a little eccentric in their own unique way? Once again, I'll simply chalk it up to the mood I was in. Prices were about what I would expect. (No more expensive or cheaper than local competitors.) Overall, the experience here was a wash, but in all honesty I probably won't ever come back. (Was in a pinch for time and couldn't make it out to my normal shop.) Don't let my experience deter you from trying out Good Karma. Maybe you'll have better Karma than I did. Ha ha!

I use to frequent this place moderately, not a regular you would say. Negatives: Changes in staff, being stalked in the humidor as if you were a thief ( note there are cameras everywhere already), very limited seating unless you are a member apparantly ( I think someone quoted $1200 per year?), no courtesy water as most lounges offer this, bad parking, selling of THC products. UPDATE for 2023:SUMMARY: 2.5 out of 5. Changes in Staff, Customer Treatment and Access to Seating. I hate that this happened.PROS: Selection still good, but nothing you can't find at other local shops.CONS: New Staff that now has high pressure sales pitches and treats you like a potential shoplifter the moment you walk in. Even if you've been a regular for years. Membership now required for seating.ATMOSPHERE: It's definitely not as chill or friendly as before. I used to be able to come in and find a quiet spot to work at or hang with friendly smokers in one of the other seating areas, talk with the former manager (he was great at making comradery with regulars or strangers) or ask for a specific game to be put on. That's no longer an option due to:MEMBERSHIP: Now available. Day passes also available. Price unknown. SELECTION: Still the same as of Jan 2023 when I last visited. I no longer come in enough to gauge how often something unique or rare is available. I came in for some regular Drew Estates sticks and still had to be followed around in the humidor like a shoplifter and upsold with a sales pitch for another cigar that just came in (I've had before) and didn't care about.PETS: You can no longer bring dogs in. Someone probably screwed that up for everyone else and I believe there are no bad dogs, just bad owners. Can't fault the owner for this one but this was a unique differentiator of this lounge before and was appreciated while available.MISC: I don't know what happened with the old manager as owner will not discuss it (I assume employment terminated), but the attitude shift started around then and sucks if you were a regular since then. He made you feel like you were best friends. Ever see the movie "Fight Club?" The new staff makes me recall "Single-Serving Friends" if you remember that scene.

I really liked this place, atypical from most cigar lounges ibecause it's a renovated two-story home with room-style seating. Conveniently close to downtown restaurants and the Cowttown Brewery. A little bit more laid-back feel then the more sophisticated Silver Leaf cigar lounge on nearby Sundance Square.I just might have smoked possibly my new favorite Connecticut- the 2012 Oscar Valladares. Such a smooth draw, buttery finish. It's BYOB. Great service. Worth a visit.

Had a great first time in. Walked in to just buy a stick to smoke that night and ended up talking with Todd for about an hour and left with a handful of sticks for me and my friend did also. He is very knowledgeable and was able to guide me to exactly what I was looking for. Also didn't try to sell me the highest price but focus on what my taste are and how I was feeling. Really can't wait for my next trip to Fort Worth. Will be getting there a little early to sit and enjoy a smoke on the amazing patio. If you're in the area and looking for a great smoke this is your place.

Very knowledgeable staff/owner! If I lived near this place or if it had better parking for Bi trucks would stop more often. Good selection of cigars and accessories and decent prices! Nice setup and lounge too!

Awesome selection of cigars! They always have some "harder to find" Liga Privada and specialty fuente boxes. I grabbed a "father and his son" box from here and countless other sticks. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good selection of those "special occasion" sticks like padron or opus x as well! I'm not a member so I don't really know much about the members only area but there is about 6-10 chairs in the front smoking area where you can burn one.

Awesome cigar shop! Great prices, knowledgeable staff in a very cool location. Owner was very helpful in helping me choose cigars.
