Yesterday was our first time back after the change of ownership. My wife and I had two bento boxes for lunch and everything was perfect, to include the service. The atmosphere is much more relaxed, as expected from a Japanese restaurant.Every bite we had was fresh and flavorful. Highly recommended!

It's been a while since my last visit, and it has been remodeled since. Server was very nice, but not very familiar with the menu. We ordered two lunch specials: spicy tuna, spicy salmon and shrimp tempura sushi rolls. We also ordered appetizers, chicken katsu and takoyaki. She was not familiar with the drink menu. Confusing Asahi beer with Sake, and actually bringing Kirin beer. After the rolls were served we waited a few minutes thinking that the appetizers were going to come at the same time, but instead we got the check. We then asked if we were going to get the appetizers, and she promptly apologized and brought them quickly. Explaining that there was some confusion in the kitchen. The food was good. Lunch was served with a side salad. Atmosphere is nice

I'm so bummed about this place. I'd like to start by saying our server was great! He was on top of drink refills, checked on us several times and really sweet. We also met the owner as we were walking out and he was very friendly and shared a little about himself with us...:which makes this difficult to write. We went around 5:30pm on a Friday. Maybe we were ahead of the normal Friday crowd but we were surprised to find there wasn't another soul in the building.....the entire time we were there. When we got the menus I was a bit taken back by the pricing. Sushi isn't cheap but their pricing is probably double the price of most sushi restaurants I've been to. Maybe I'm just cheap . I'm not a sushi snob by any means but when I pay $19 for a sushi roll....I expect it to be pretty amazing. Unfortunately this was not the case. The sushi rice tasted old and was dry and crumbly. The shrimp tempura roll had salad lettuce in it...which was weird to me but maybe it's just not my cup of tea. The rolls are also pretty small for the price. My husband said his ramen was good and he's pretty picky. My got fried rice and was not impressed....but he ate it. Maybe we caught them on a bad night. I really hope that's the case. The staff and owner were really nice and I am all about supporting local small businesses like this. I'd probably be willing to try them again if I was dining alone...but I'm definitely not spending $100 on tiny dried sushi rolls again. I'm giving them 3 stars because the service was outstanding. That's being generous.....

This restaurant is under new management and is completely different from the Ginza of old...Gone are the military theme, sniper rifles, French offerings, and the entertaining if slightly volatile owner. Basically everything that made this place "Ginza" is Gonza. The good news is that what has replaced it is great. The menu is now a more traditional sushi/Japanese affair. The prices are significantly more affordable, and the food is really good. I realize saying this is the best sushi in Weatherford is like saying someone is the most masculine guy at a brony convention, but for what it's worth: This is the best sushi in Weatherford. The prices and portion sizes are now reasonable. The food is prepared with care, and they have great lunch specials on the weekdays. I've been at least five times since the change and haven't had a bad experience. The service is always fast and attentive.I hope people get the word out that this place is under new management. I was a little sad to see the old Ginza go, but this new version is really good.

I love coming to Ginza for sushi/sashimi. The Sushi Chef is so nice and very professional. My last order of Salmon Sashimi was very generous. They price per piece but they were a nice size. I should have gotten a picture. Others in my party got Salmon Teriyaki hibachi (which is done in back of house) and she said it was the BEST she has ever had. The other person got Yaki Soba which he likes a lot. Don't be scared of guns or military around here because they support the 2nd Ammendment! Oh, they have good drinks from the bar.
