George's Cafe

This place hasn't had any reviews in a long while, so wanted to check them out. The food wasn't bad, but not all that great either.I ordered a double meat cheeseburger with jalapenos. I got mustard instead of mayo. It wasn't overall bad, but nothing that would make me make a special trip to try. They are in the middle of the Riverbend business Park, so unless you work here or are on business here, you won't see it unless you look online.The bread was falling apart (slightly toasted, but not enough to make it sturdy for a burger and the meat wasn't all that great (not really seasoned and don't think their grill is being properly cleaned). It was ok for the price, though (like $7 or $8).The strawberry churros was interesting to say the least. I love churros, but the strawberry filling wasn't too great. Also it tasted like was cooked in old grease and had that aftertaste.So, while not the worst place I've had, but not good enough for me to really want to come back to

They serve a great burger, but I have a beef, no pun intended, with George's Cafe. I was looking at my receipt for my double meat jalapeño cheeseburger and it shows no tomato, no onion, no lettuce, add jalapeños .75¢ !!! That is pure greed and it's not right !!! If I didn't cut the veggies and added jalapeños I could see that as an extra, but in this case, it's a cost savings for George's Cafe over all along with a profit. As stated, they serve a 5 Star burger, but I'll never give them 5 Stars again unless they add the jalapeños at no charge when I cut all the veggies. That's all I've got to say about that.

Inexpensive and good plus the staff is friendly! The breakfast is served for lunch which is nice. Simple seating but it's fine.

Horrible treatment, will NEVER returnMy wife and I stopped in for breakfast, and Immediately were bombarded by these AWFUL signage all over the counter. Apparently, this place has so many customers and such locked in cliental that they feel free to speak to people in such a manner. I don't care if they sell 18 oz Prime Rib for 99 cents, I would never visit a place that feels so free to speak to customers in such a way. There is a way to address these issues without the rudeness. Or.... they simple do not care about loosing business. I put this on YELP to show them, they ARE losing business with their rudeness.

Really neat little local joint. Cafe style dining - you order at the front counter. What sticks out the most to me about this place is how friendly the staff are.The value is top notch. My wife and I ate for $10. The food is good, certainly not great, but really good. I my favorite thing I tried were the sausage rolls!

Here is a friendly spot for lunch or breakfast if you are in the vicinity (7-3pm M-F). Located at the corner of an industrial plaza, it may seem a bit out of place amidst all the commercial and industrial offices. But, for those of us looking for a simple spot to grab a quick lunch in the area, George's offers a large variety of choices for those common lunch cravings.George's menu consists of over 50 items. Most of which are burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, Tex-Mex, and side items. There are also a few chicken entrees and seafood basket items available (which I have not tried out myself, but my coworker thoroughly enjoys them). The menu presents itself with the attitude of being a "Jack of all Trades".The owner is always friendly and greets everyone with a smile. Come here more than once and he may even greet you by name. Orders are taken quickly and prepared on the spot. You will rarely ever have to wait long since more than likely, your order will be the next one up. With pricing between $4-7 for a meal, it is a reasonably priced alternative to hitting up a fast food joint.Before I forget, they also sell candy/ice cream like the ones you'd find in a convenience store. Enjoy!

As our cooking days are over, we wanted to find a go-to brunch cafe near our home. We found George's on Yelp. I had a BLT & John had a polish dog. (The bacon was yummy.) We loved them both & the prices were so great. It's a cute & very clean place. Now that we found George's, we'll be their regular customers.

George's is GREAT!I work in the business park and go here for lunch now and then. They are always quick, friendly and fairly inexpensive. Most of the time, I'm greeted by name (always with a smile). There is a great deal of variety (cafe/diner style) food, the burgers, sandwiches and tacos are things I've had personally and really like (the fries remind me of the high school cafeteria).Stop by and see George for breakfast or lunch & you won't be disappointed!

OMG! I have always known this place was there, but just recently tried it. I can't believe the number of things they offer and so far, they have all been plentiful and delicious. I want to keep this a secret, but you really need to try it.
