Fred's Texas Cafe - North

Learned there was a closer location to where we live now and decided to head on over. Great choice! Fred's burgers are absolutely delicious. Fresh. Hot. Seasoned. Huge. Juicy. The buns are toasted and buttery. The fries arrived hot and crispy. A little salt and I was in heaven. We both agree Fred's is one of the best burgers we've had since moving to the "Fort Worth" area. Greeted warmly with excellent customer service...our waitress was sweet and quick.

I don't know a darned thing about the place, but every other ad on Twitter is from these guys about some freaking Elote Burger, and there's no way to get rid of them. God knows I've tried a hundred times. So if anybody at Fred's sees this, know that I hate them and will never set foot inside the place.

You NEVER go wrong at Fred's. The food is always fantastic, the beer always cold, and the service and people are exceptional. We bring our grandkids, visitors, and friends here. Quickly became our weekly go to bar and grill.

Hadn't been here in several years and we've been back 3 times in the last month. We love their burgers and the variety of choices. The loaded cheese fries are amazing and fresh cut fries.

Food was better than last time, service was awesome, but as a frequent customer I was wondering why the place was empty. I've been here many times and have never seen it so bad. What it boils down too is it is not a comfortable environment. I understand restaurants turning air way down to speed up turnover but this is ridiculous. I have not been able to remove my coat. It is freezing in here!!!

Great food and atmosphere. Staff is always happy and helpful. I love the quesadilla but they have removed my favorite from the menu.

Fred's was okay! We liked our actual meal, which consisted of the Original Fred's Burger and Chicken Fried Steak sandwich. However, our starter wasn't that great as the queso tasted like it was re-heated/not fresh. The chips were alright. We hardly saw our waitress except at the beginning when she took our order, a totally different person brought our food. We assumed she was the only one working but we could have been wrong. These days it seems to be the norm for one server be on a shift serving every table. Regardless, we received our food in a timely matter.I don't think we will return though, for the price we paid I would've expected more from the food. It wasn't as good this time around.

Great food, pretty good service. Waitress seemed distracted and got a few orders wrong, but overall we enjoyed it. The bacon burnt ends were dry and tough. Burgers were on point.

I LOVE FRED's! They have such delicious burgers and affordable brews. It feels like a fun neighborhood spot where you are bound to run into someone you know.

We met here because its central to all the adult offspring. WOW we where impressed. Sat in the bar area and had a magherita(frozen) it was very good and only one needed. (I think they may have specials but we didnt have the timing right, however the price was fine)Several of us got burgers and they where big and did not disappoint. Came with fries and you can upgrade them to loaded. My daughters both did and they where covered and smothered in cheesy goodness.My son and his wife tried the chicken fried steak which came with 2 sides and was HUGE.This is a relaxed bar atmosphere and staff is attentive and food delish..Add it to the love list
