Fowler's BBQ

First time here. Food was amazing! 3 course meal! Hidden treasure must try! Plenty of parking. No signage on building but go's takes you right here.

Friday night in Texas has many traditions. One of them is Friday Night Fish night. Fowler's Fish night does not disappoint. The portions are super filling. The fish was fresh and lightly battered with cornmeal and fried to a delicious golden brown. It was served with slaw, homemade red beans and fresh cut French fries. Tartar sauce was tasty and thick. The place is family operated, by on of the nicest families you would ever meet. Will definitely drive the 80 miles again to eat there. Very clean, nice group running the cafe. My group of friends hunt nearby and not many places to eat. We have all tried Chicken fried steak and burgers, always good. burgers, philly steak sandwich was also very good. They are always friendly, and during lunch great crowed comes by to eat. I would push 5 stars if they Didnt run out of BBQ on every visit so far. I'm guessing it must be really good, cant wait try it.

Good Catfish on Friday night. Hushpuppies really good too, just wish there were more. I got the small plate and it was really enough for two meals. Thin cut fries are also great. Plate also came with slaw and and beans. It all complemented the great fried catfish. It is a small place not much to look at outside but good food inside. I'll be back.

The have BBQ on Tuesday & Thursday...HOWEVER if you go in on another day I recommend their CHEESEBURGERS...They have a variety of sandwiches and even make pizza...It's a good clean family place...

Great hamburger and steak fingers if you are in this area. Friday night fish is also a favorite in this area.

Most Amazing food around. They had a wonderful 3 course meal tonight that was to die for. I definitely recommend Fowler's to everyone around.

Great burger! Fries lacked salt but were still good. Takeout only on the night we visited. I'd stop again.

Fantastic BBQ! Burgers and chicken fried steak are excellent too.Definitely worth the stop. Absolutely the best food and menu around.The owner and staff are super friendly and wonderful people.

The food was delicious, I had the pork quesadilla and my mother in law had the chicken fried steak. Probably one of best small town restaurants I've eaten at. Would definitely eat there again if I'm passing through.
