I've ridden at Foster Farm for two years and it is the best place for English riding lessons in town! Located on a beautiful facility just south of downtown and operated by the best saddleseat instructors in town. I had ridden American Saddlebreds as a child and had no idea that Foster Farm was just up the road. It is the only Saddlebred farm in the downtown area and they are filled to the brim with championship riders and beautiful show horses. Giving your child the gift of horsemanship is irreplaceable and I highly recommend Foster Farm as a starting point. The trainers specialize in starting young and aren't afraid to teach little ones. And they can carry riders all the way up to championship status. It's an incredible sport, unique, and so very different than many other disciplines out there. The facility has gorgeous trails as well if you're interested in that! I can't say enough about Nicole, Stephanie and Hugo - the Foster Farm family is the best place to ride in Dallas.

I started riding at Foster Farm in December 2012, and I love it. The horses are amazing, and the instructors are diligent, thorough horsewomen who train folks like me who are probably not going to be showing with the same intensive style and dedication as they do those who love showing every chance they get! The new facility in Hutchins is a great escape from the big city grind. Every trip down feels like a little vacation, even though it only takes me about 15 minutes to get there from North Oak Cliff!

The three women that run the instruction and training program are excellent! They teach English style riding on Saddlebred show horses. All three women have won events in national competitions. They have a great personalities and encourage riders with positive reinforcement. The beginner camps for girls are a great value and experience. They endow young women with a sense of independence, confidence, athleticism, and love of horses. A large group of middle age moms also take lessons and ride here. Ask for Nicole Foster or Stephanie Corbin. Beth Riggs, the founder of www.HorseRidingChannel.com who is a former TV mom also takes lessons from these women. She sings the praises of what they do for young women. It's all about sharing the love of horses. If your daughter is interested in jumping, dresage, or western they can steer you to other talented trainers at the center.

Our daughter started riding with Foster Farm in 2010 for fun. Since then Nicole Foster (owner & trainer) & Stephanie Corbin (co-trainer) have nurtured our daughter's initial love of horses to the fullest. They are serious about rider safety, equitation & having fun. Katie has been showing for only a year & a half and we are now at the World Championship Horse Show in Louisville, KY.
