Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra

If you haven't attended here yet, you are missing a world class venue, world class orchestra, and superior performance offerings. The mezzanine is the best value, view, and overall quality. If you haven't stood on the mezzanine terrace with a drink from the lovely bar... Well then you wouldn't understand one of the best combinations of heart, soul, passion, art, and music. From Broadway to Symphony was another wondrous example of the orchestra. I was not a fan of the amount of talking done by the vocalist.

I've made the drive from Plano to Ft. Worth to hear the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra at least 3 times in the past year, and it's been awesome each time! If you haven't heard them live yet, you're definitely missing out. Their Classical series is the best, and they often bring in well-known, acclaimed soloists / pianists. Bass Hall is a gorgeous venue, and it's the perfect place for a night or afternoon with great music.

I kept yelling FREEBIRD! But they never played it.Also, it smelled like a Ben Gay convention in there which made sense as there were a lot of old geezers whose joints kept cracking and popping as they milled about. Take my advice, bring your own popcorn cuz they don't sell it here.

overall this year the performance was good but a slight downgrade from last year, including the quality of the food. i totally want to see more of the choir! -xoxo, gina
