We had a great time. My daughter loved cici the horse. The staff was great and super attentive to all in our group.

Such a fun and awesome experience!!! I took my family here and they all enjoyed it. The guides were all friendly and made sure you had a great time. Will definitely go horse back riding here again!!!

If you are someone who has 0 horseback riding experience I wouldn't really recommend this place. All of the employees seemed very "over it". They pick a horse, put you on it, and tell you how to pull the reigns briefly. All the cowboys just seemed miserable to be there and unhelpful. I asked the guy to repeat how to turn and stop and he said don't worry you'll figure it out, the horse knows what to do. im glad i got to ride a horse i just dont think it was the safest experience. atleast pretend to care. this whole place is a liability.

Took my 12-yr-old son for his first ride with the Stockyard Stables this past weekend as part of a long weekend in DFW. We were in town from Boston for the Cotton Bowl and did a ton of amazing things, but this was by far his favorite part of the trip. Kudos to the crew for a safe, enjoyable experience that we'll remember for many years to come.

I brought my 3 year old granddaughter to the petty zoo. Let me first say there are only goats and a few sheep and it's all under a tent. These were some super aggressive goats! They jumped up on the fence and were right in your face! We purchased the $3 cup of feed and a goat took the cup from me. We were seriously out of there is 7 mins! A big waste of $16. So much has gone into the development of The Stockyards, so much retail and tourism, but zero attention to an attraction that could be a lot of fun for our little ones! So we went to the zoo, the Texas portion of the zoo did have a petting zoo and the kiddos walked amongst them, were provided brushes and got up close and personal with the goats! There were e hubs on farming, with rabbits, pigs and chickens. A lot of fun and worth the $23 to go for just a few hours!

I came here from out of town with some military friends. It was definitely a new and fun experience. All the ladies working were very nice and understanding. All the horses we behaved well. You just have to watch out for locals driving and forgetting that a horse will jack up their cars. We had at least six people in our group who had never ridden a horse before and we had no issues. This was not my first experience riding a horse, but I believe that this is a great opportunity, to allow others an adventure that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Be advised the day that I rode the horse it was about 103° outside in the great state of Texas. So make sure you have sunblock on, a hat and possibly sleeves. The ride the we did was an hour long. I definitely recommend any and everybody to give this a try and have this experience. Thanks Jasmine for taking on the trail

Fun for the whole family with majestic animals! An hour's worth of horse riding with great walk along the Trinjty river. Supportive staff and great small talk.

The team was outstanding! The horses were very well cared for and very calm while this was my granddaughter's first ride. It was a time she'll never forget. Leighton was our guide and he was very attentive to our needs. I would highly recommend!

Incredibly friendly staff and very welcoming to my 6 y/o. He loved even the short 15 minutes we spent feeding the goats.

Absolutely amazing experience!! This is a must at the stockyards. We've lived here for years and are just now doing this. Emma was exceptional and very helpful!!
