Fort Worth Capoeira

Fort Worth Capoeira has been a second home since I started training here. The instructor is professional and a knowledgable expert on the art. Through her organization of cultural events, batizados and classes the space becomes a transformative environment. Her work with children is especially powerful. I came to Capoeira through a vague interest in the art and want of a different kind of fitness. However, the school's community and teachings have made an impact which has kept me coming back.

I've been training in martial arts for several years, and I found this class to be exciting, challenging, and fun. They focus on more than just the physical aspects of the art. You will start to learn about the language and culture of the art even during your first class. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher or group of students.

What started as a search for some form of physical activity for our very active boys, turned into a family affair!! This place is Amazing!! The instruction is clear and straightforward as well as fun!! We now as a family enjoy this and the best part of Capoeira is the community and friendship! Can't say enough great things about Fort Worth Capoeira!!

We've been attending classes for about a month and every week I am surprised by the patience and dedication Lindsey has for her students especially my 5 year old.

Though I have only been here a few short months I have fallen in love with the art form of Capoeira Regional. Fort Worth Capoeira has filled a void by providing a true community and a enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher. I can't wait until my daughter is old enough to participate to make it a family affair! It will be even better when we get our new space.
